Yelp5Grant came over in the appt window, quickly diagnosed the issue, laid out the options for me with pricing, then had the new opener installed within an hour. Great service and I will call them again if I ever need support.

Yelp5I won't be calling any other garage door company from now on. Trust me, just call this one. I got inspection/quotes from a few other garage door shops before Isaac from Instant Garage Door Repair (AKA A.M.B. Garage Doors, they merged apparently). They all found the very obvious issue (door arm was missing) and said "yeah we'll need to replace the entire thing". Isaac actually open/closed the door a few times, looked where it might be catching or rubbing, checked the roller wheels and springs, door alignment, etc. Isaac very clearly knows garage doors -- and he delivered. He was able to service the main maintenance in like 40 minutes; it went from being impossible for my partner to open/close manually to being almost no effort (and it's a heavy door)! In addition, there was a broken and missing piece of plastic where the door arm normally connects... he was able to CUSTOM CRAFT a small piece of metal that fits perfectly into where the missing piece was, removing the need to replace the otherwise-functional system! All of this ran us half what other places quoted us for the full system replacement, and none of them even talked about realigning the door or upgrading rollers or anything, and he did it without needing to schedule another day.

Yelp5My garage door problem had nothing to do with the garage door and everything to do with operator error! It was all my fault and he was kind enough not only not to laugh but not to charge me!!

Yelp5Ahron is responsive, friendly, and clearly knows the garage door repair business. Also he does not oversell by trying to recommend unnecessary repairs or service. In fact, I thought it would be a good idea to replace both torsion springs since one broke and they were the same age, but he felt it was not necessary. Yelp5Ahron is the rare, professional, old school expert who is, both, extremely good at what he does and so personable and friendly that it makes needing his help with a garage door something to look forward to. He does the job right in the first place while actually standing behind his work to provide extra satisfaction and peace of mind. It's hard to find a great person and a great professional in one contractor, but he is that and he sets the bar high for all contractors. My two experiences with Ahron were, predictably, fantastic. Don't even think about hiring anyone else.

Yelp5We used Ahron a few years ago for a tune up on our old garage door. When it was time to replace our door we reached out to him again. As always, Ahron was quick to respond and dropped by soon after our inquiry to talk through options and price range. He works on his own, and does an impeccable job. I didn't know it was possible - but we LOVE our garage door. Ahron helped us nail down exactly what we wanted and we're super happy. I would confidently recommend A.M.B Garage Doors to anyone. In fact our neighbor used him just a few weeks later for a new opener. Super nice guy and funny too!

Yelp5I simply can't say enough good things about Ahron of A.M.B Garage Doors. He's true to his word and did a fantastic job replacing not just my garage door but all the associated hardware AND helping me reinstall my garage door opener. He's an easy going, friendly, and honest guy (no up selling scare-tactics here), and I wholeheartedly recommend him for any garage door repair/maintenance/improvement work you need. Oh, all that AND his pricing is very competitive - seriously, he should be your first call. (Though on that note, he's heading out of town shortly for a few months so if you can't get a hold of him, don't take it personally. If your plans/project allow, I believe it's worth waiting for his return.)

Yelp5I just had AMB Garage Doors offer to come take a look just to assess the situation. The owner was at my house within 20 min of me calling him. Could not have been nicer or more thorough, respectful, gracious and reasonably priced. No major work needed, no attempts to scare or up-sell me.

Yelp5Polite. Punctual. Professional. Hire Ahron if you need work. He has the best, latest equipment, and is super knowledgeable and able to answer any question. I had him install a LiftMaster WLED to replace a 20-year-old opener. In one hour he accompished what I'm certain would have taken me a whole weekend had I tried to do it myself. I'll definitely call him if I ever need garage door work in the future.

Angi5My garage door motor died. Ahron returned my phone call even tho he was out of the country. We were able to set an appointment when he returned. He gave me clear options with no pressure. Pointed out potential needs and clarified what wasn't necessary. He arrived on time, was professional and efficient and even added struts to provide more stability for the unit without adding an extra charge. The door works like a charm. High recommendation ! Angi5I can't recommend AMB enough. Excellent service on both occasions I used them. Ahron was very responsive and professional. Price was fair and he really goes out of his way to make sure you understand what he is charging you for and even showing you the wear and tear on previous parts changed out. Services Rendered: Used AMB on two occasions. The first was to install a new opener when my previous one failed. The second was to replace a broken spring.

Angi5Ahron did an amazing job and I can't recommend him enough. He beat everybody else's prices by a lot (including Lowes), he was also so nice and easy to work with, he delivered on time, and was communicative through the whole process. I wish we could say this about all the contractors we work with!!! Even though he's very busy right now, he stayed overtime to get through our project on the hottest day of the year. Ahron's reputation is clearly growing online and you'll be lucky to hire him yourself! Thanks Ahron for helping us with our project! Services Rendered: Installation of a new garage door and replacing of an old garage door. We had both a cheaper white garage door installed and a more expensive metal glass garage door installed.
