BBB1***** Asiel refuses to replace two cracked panels in Northwest Modern Classic Door installed by him and his son in July of 2021. The cracks were noticed within a month of install. He's told us several things - it couldn't have been his fault or he would have noticed, he's ordered the replacements, he needs to wait until we get back from AZ. It's been a year. This was a $6K door. Northwest says they're not responsible, their distributor, *******, says they're not responsible. ***** is irresponsible or he would have a)noticed the cracks in installation or b)fixed them.

Yelp3James of Asiel Garage Doors installed a NW Modern Classic Door July 11, 2021. Shortly afterward, when I was cleaning the car and my face was next to the panel, I noticed a crack in the glass. I contacted him and he said he would order the replacement. About two weeks afterwards, when I had locked myself and had to use the garage door code so again, my face was close to the door, I noticed a crack in another panel. On inspection, it was from a wayward screw drilled into the frame. I contacted him and he said there was no way, that he would have noticed that in installation. I sent him pictures of both cracks and which panel they were in. Northwest says they are not responsible for installers and that they sold the door to Hörmann Innovative Door System. Hormann's manager said he is not responsible and our only recourse is through James Asiel. Why pay $6000 for a door if the installer, the distributor and the manufacturer all refuse to repair defects - either from the manufacturer or the installation which I don't know because I didn't watch James and his son install it. **AFter these complaints, both my cracked panels were replaced last weekend.

Yelp5We are general contractors building a home in University Place, WA. I attempted to get my garage door locally at the Overhead Door establishment in UP. It was a nightmare. I was told it would take 6-8 weeks because it wasn't standard size. I thought that was the norm because Overhead said so. After 11 weeks I saw another house under construction with their garage door already installed and asked who had installed it. It had only taken 2 weeks. After waiting 13 weeks and half my garage door came in and was told they didn't know when the other half would be delivered, I called James at Asiel Garage doors and had the same door I had previously ordered, and then cancelled, installed within 2 weeks as he had promised. Great work and great service!

Yelp1Dont tust this company! come to find out I was charged for things that I didn't need as well. there was a young man with braces that came to my home and took stuff out of my garage. I can't get this place to call me back.

Yelp5I am absolutely impressed with the customer service and workmanship that Asiel Garage Doors brings. They were extremely nice, honest with me on what route to go (many options and styles to choose from), and made themselves available on my timeline even when they were slammed that weekend. I truly appreciate James who installed my door. I'll definitely recommend you guys!
