Google3It seems that a lot of the reviews are kinda fake, as they don't really mention the service provided, price and seem to follow a pattern, but ok. I'm reasonably sure this is just a provider service that hands out jobs to other companies. Nobody from 'chief' showed up. An unmarked truck with out of state plates showed up (on time), and quoted $550+ for a torsion spring repair. Seems a bit on the high end tbh. Work was done, seems to open a bit weaker than before, but it works. Payment was requested via personal check to individuals name, not company name. Receipt for a different company was provided, with no address nor website on it. Should warranty work be needed, I am skeptical Chief has anything to do with that. Apart from fairly high prices, and seemingly 3 different names attached to service, for now, it worked.

Google5The process ran quite well throughout. Din arrived at the scene with plenty of time to complete the repair. He suggested replacing the cables as well because they were rusty. We are delighted with the service received from Din and heartily endorse Chief Garage Door Repair LLC and Gate Supply.

Google5My home warranty covered my garage door. They called me, made a time for their arrival, and arrived prepared. Eli, our tech, was incredibly courteous and competent.

Google1If I could give 1 store I would. Extremely rude and unprofessional. The exact words I was told were, "I'm trying to get rid of you. Can you please stop calling?" after I called once and was immediately hung up on. Not taking work for your reasons is one thing, but to treat other people with complete disrespect is not a way to run a business. Spend your money elsewhere if you're looking for garage door work in the Seattle area.

Google5Service tech showed up on time, identified the problem, and had the garage door working as good as new. Would definitely use Dodds again

Google2Called them up in May 2021 when our garage door slipped off its track and was stuck halfway open. They were able to come out the same day to fix it. The technician put it back on the track and replaced the spring, charging me over $1K. The garage door then failed multiple times over the next few months and I had to call the technician back 3 more times to fix the work. When I tried calling the office to complain, it turns out the tech is a contractor so they wouldn't help. By the 3rd time I really would have appreciated having somebody else out. I called another company to give a second opinion and they informed me that the original tech installed a spring that was too small for our garage door, so I called the original tech to ask for the correct size spring to be installed and they claimed it wasn't available and they would call me when it was to install it free of charge. That was last September and I've heard nothing since then. Now my garage door is failing again less than a year later and I'm going to need to have somebody else out to fix it.

Google5These people just fixed my double garage door and opener which became stuck and was not moving. It was great to see that these people responded the same day I submitted a request on their website. This was the third time I have used their services for door repairs & fixes. Every time it has been a great experience!

Google5I was in a panic and need my garage door spring repaired. From my call at 10:30 pm the night before to the arrival of the technician Eli at 8:15 the next morning my crisis was averted. Eli was amazing and got the job done in such a professional manner. He saved the DAY!
