Google5One of my two garage doors would not open. It was not urgent, but Tyler came out just a day later, anyway. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a failure of the 40-year-old door opener mechanism. He installed a replacement within an hour. Tyler was very efficient and helpful. When my other opener goes, I'll be calling Dan's again.

The level of service and attention to detail truly stands out. Dan even saved us once while we were out of town, coming right away to fix a door that our house sitter could no longer get it to close. Google5Called Dan's Garage Door for routine maintenance after puechasing a new house. He had great availability, was prompt, courteous, and efficient yet thourough in his inspection. I was having an issue with programming the outside keypad, and he quickly found and resolved the issue. I am highly satisfied with the service, price, and quality of work!

Google5Had a LARGE garage door that would not open because of a broken spring. Called Dan's and was told the technician, Tyler would be there in about 90 min. He was there in 45 min. He explained what was wrong with the door, helped raise the door so we could remove the car, assessed and measured the old springs and got custom springs ordered that could be picked up and installed the next day. As we were away for the weekend, Tyler came around on Monday, installed the springs, tuned the door, all before 11.30 am. Great job, we were well pleased.

Google5Dan came to the rescue in a moment of crisis after I accidentally closed my old garage door onto my car roof when it was parked half way into the garage (wheels were on each side of the sensor). He was referred by my neighbor, another satisfied customer. I was in a panic, because having an unlocked and inoperable garage door placed my entire home at risk. On a Friday late afternoon, Dan was able to add me to his schedule. On the spot, he was able to get my door back into manual working condition, and he engineered a manual way to lock it. Phew! In a follow-up visit, we discussed replacement options. My old door was so loud, the noise could wake up the neighbors. Dan quickly learned why. The tracks inside the garage were narrower at one end than the other, meaning, my door was doing the equivalent of trying to squeeze into jeans that were 2 sizes too small every time I opened the door. He was able to engineer a solution, with a modification to the width of the door entrance. We then discussed manufacturers, styles, and colors, and I placed an order. This new garage door would complement the exterior house paint and new front entrance door project I already had in motion. The new door was ready in about a month, and Dan and his crew returned to finish the job. One of the new door's four window frames was manufactured in the wrong color, so Dan placed a replacement part order and came back to install it a few weeks later. The new door is whisper quiet, with extra features and security I never had before. He taught me how to maintain it, so I feel like I am truly set up for success. Dan and his crews are wonderful people to work with!

Google5Updating this review - I called Dan again when my garage door suddenly wouldn't open, and he was able to walk me through fixing it. Dan is the best! Would never call anyone else. Fantastic - Dan showed up on time and fixed my garage door quickly, replaced a broken keypad, and gave me a new remote, all for a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Yelp5Dan's great! Our spring snapped and Dan came out the same day. He was punctual, communicative, and was up front about the estimate, which was something other vendors weren't forthright about. He explained everything he was doing, was courteous, put on shoe covers while inside the house, and also serviced the overall garage door system, like replacing the wheels, adding lubricant, etc. We're up and running again after an hour. I'd highly recommend him.

Great communication, transparent pricing, and commitment to customer service. Yelp5The spring on our garage door snapped at 7:30pm on a Thursday night, trapping our only car inside. I called Dan's Garage Service the next morning and he had it fixed by lunchtime. It was very reasonably priced and Dan explained everything he did and why, which I appreciated. Dan had everything he needed with him to do the repair right then. Excellent customer service and would absolutely call again if we needed anything else done on our garage door.

Yelp5Outstanding!! Dan was outstanding in all aspects of his work! Very pleasant to speak to, detailed, prompt, and excellent work! Called him on a Tuesday after Christmas for a spring repair, was at my house as scheduled the next day and quickly was able to give me an estimate on the repair and was able to repair the spring within the hour so that I can have acces to our garage. SInce this unit was also outdated, I asked about replacing with new and more modern unit and 2 days later, it was done! what would have taken me 2-3 days to try to to somewhat repair, took Dan 2 hours in labor and was very well done! Highly recommend Dan!!!

Yelp5I accidentally backed into my garage and needed someone to repair it. I found Dan on Yelp and contacted him. He is a great communicator and requested photos of the damage. A quote was emailed promptly and we agreed on a time of arrival. He was prepared with all the necessary parts and tools to repair the garage. Once done, he cleared up the mess and took the damage materials away. I love the fact that he didn't subcontract out this project. It was actually Dan that showed up! Previously, I had someone fix the garage but the company I used subcontracted it out and it was not fixed properly. I would recommend Dan in a heartbeat for all your garage repair needs. Awesome guy who knows how to fix your garage properly the first time!

Yelp5Our garage door was loud, old, and required manual assist to fully close. After reviewing pictures of the door and calling to discuss, Dan gave us a reasonable quote for each work item. He was very responsive, called the day prior to confirm the appointment, and arrived on time. He didn't try to upsell, in fact after inspecting the door he said we could wait a while longer for part of the work if we preferred. The door works great now (wish we had called him sooner). Dan was very conscientious, explained the work he had done, and was respectful of our property. I've already recommended him to a friend and will not hesitate to call him again when the other garage doors need service.
