I had a broken torsion spring on 1/23/20022. I contacted them and they came the same day to replace it for $869.00. The work was alright but the charge was high. They saw that I installed a Nexx Garage control so that I could control the garage opener from my phone and asked if I wanted to replace my garage opener with one that has built-in wifi and accompanying software. I wanted to replace it with one that uses belt anyway. So, sure. Why not? They gave me an estimate of $700. But when the work was done, they said that they had to add a few things and the final cost was $1,119. I asked them to keep the Nexx controller so that I could give it to my friend who might need it, but they cut the wire when they removed it. Now five months later, starting on 6/26, the garage opener refuses to close with the error code 4-6 stating that the sensors are misaligned or something is blocking them. I have checked many times. The sensors are clear. Nothing is obstructing them. But the garage open is not closing.
