On the next day, Friday, October 11, the sun came out, garage door opener would not work, I called them & they could not come back til today, Monday October 14, 2013, they would be here before 2 pm. At 2 they called to say they were running late. They arrived at 2:30, there were 2 men this time. I explained the problem, they said it was the eyes & they needed to be replaced. They replaced the eyes & all is good. The part I did not like was it took them all of maybe, 10 minutes, but I had already paid the man on Thursday to do the job, as far as I am concerned he shouldn't have been paid anything, he didn't do anything I needed done! He did not fix the door opener & refused to listen when I told him the problem with the sun! I called the office to complain, but got nowhere! The lady told me it often takes several trips to solve the problem, it was not his fault there was no sun that day. And they did not charge me the second $55 charge just to drive in the driveway, they only charged me for the eyes to fix the door! I may be old fashioned, but that is not how people used to do business! It has left a bad taste in my mouth, & I don't know if I will use them again. All beware, I guess this is what they all do! Services Rendered: On the first visit he put in one screw, sprayed some lubricant & checked the eyes on the door opener & declared it good. I told him the problem occurs when the sun is out, he told me that was not possible.

Please see above. Services Rendered: I needed a snapped garage door spring replaced, and was using Bing to search for garage door companies. I tried reading their reviews and was not impressed, as most of the reviews seem to have been written by someone at that company. I found Lakeside Doors via Angies's list, my first search using this service. I liked the independant reviews and called them. The woman who answered the phone was so pleasant and nice I knew this company was a good one. She said someone would call between 0830 and 0930, and Kevin called just after 0830 and said he would be there is about 40 minutes. He was there just as promised, and was so professional, and helpful in walking me through the components and what needed to be done. Kevin was also fast, obviously highly trained and skilled. We had a broken lift spring, could not open the door. My wife had just broken her wrist, so we were anxious to be able to get our car out in case of need to seek further medical care. After I explained the situation and asked for quick response, Lakeside was here in a few hours, replaced the springs and completely serviced the door.. Their representative was courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were pleased with the service and will call them again if we have need for garage door service of any kind Services Rendered: Broken lift spring was replaced (along with the second spring). The entire mechanism, plus a second door, was serviced. A replacement remote controller was provided and programmed.

I contacted three other companies on angies list and only Lakeside called me back. They came out and took measurements within a day or two of the call and had it installed within a week. They were very polite over the phone and in person. Two hours after getting to my house we had a new garage door. Lakeside was over two hundred dollars less for the same door purchased and installed than both of the big box stores. Services Rendered: We had a small job to do being one 8x7 garage door.

They came out to do more work but we discovered it was not needed. The are A + in every category. This is the best service I have had in any industry. Services Rendered: They repaired a garage door. They are going to come out later to put in the automatic door opener.

Timely for the bid, we called the next day and booked install for 6 days out. On the work day the installer showed up early (about 15 minutes) and took all day, which is what they estimated. We had 3 different companies out and by far this was the best service and price! Services Rendered: Removed and installed 3 garage doors and 3 openers

The installation went smoothly and quickly. He showed me how to work the new remotes, safety eye and key pad code entry. Everything works great! Services Rendered: My garage door opener had been on it's last legs for quite some time. It finally died so I called Lake Side Doors. The office person was knowledgeable and helpful and set up a service call for the next day. The service person arrived on time, assessed the situation and recommended that I have a new garage door opener installed. Even though the door itself was very old, he recommended only the new motor. When I need a new door in the future I am going to use Lake Side Doors.
