READ ***************!We had our garage motor completely go out, Monroe Garage Door Service was quick to respond, came out the next day, and quoted us $600 for the Job, the technician went out to Lowes and bought a $175 garage belt drive, then proceeded to charge $600 for the parts and $935 total for the job - we paid not having known how much of a severe overcharge it was. After having found prices online, they responded by saying that it included new sensors, 3 openers, battery backups, and a 5-year warranty. All of these features come in the retail kit from Lowes. Told: "It's the law that any company can charge you 2 or 3 times the number of parts if they want to."Now they change their tune and say that it's not the same product, despite identical model numbers because "model numbers don't matter."I've tried to come to an agreement with them I've been passed around from technician to supervisor to manager, gaslighted and lied to about their "exclusive supplier," told they "Don't know who the owner is," and cannot give me their information.Other companies have quoted $540 +tax for the same job, but with professional-grade belts and drivers. This company is unlicensed, unprofessional, and outright sketchy. Don't be fooled by the high ratings, I would question the authenticity of previous reviews.
