I got up this morning and garage door wouldn't open so I could go to work, spring was broken, called Montys Garage Door Repairs because they are local for surprise, they were here in about an hour and fix everything within an hour. Google1This is a SCAM! I called for a tuneup only since my sensors needed to be better aligned and secured. They quoted me $30 or $59 with a year's warranty. I took the $59 offer and provided my credit card info. Then I get a call from the "technician" who was on their way and wanted me to text him what I needed done. I told him I already gave that info to who I thought was his employer. Since I was at work I was communicating by phone. When he got there he called for instructions again and asked if the motor was ok. I again told him it was a simple tune up of the sensors. He then said it would cost $350! Needless to say I was very upset and told him to leave. I called "Monty's" to complain and ask for a refund of the "service fee". He refused and said the "service" was to have a technician come out only. No real service as I thought had been represented. "Monty's" is a front for Premium Home Services which just farms out to independent technicians who the try to scam you for whatever they can get away with. Premium is only in the biz to generate referral fees.

Google5Ronie was on time, courteous, and quick. We thought the cost was going to be much more and he completed the repair within 25 minutes. Also they were able to have someone at my home within 48 hours of calling to inquire. I called 4 other places that didn't have availability for 2-3 weeks. 100% recommend Montys Garage Door Repairs.

Google5Montys responded nice to my issue, and when he came to the house, he was extremely professional. He fixed the door issue and fixed it quickly. He provided a few tips on how to avoid other garage door issues in future. The price he charged was actually less than his quote, and I was more than happy to pay it. Highly recommended, Montys Garage Door Repairs is great!
