I was concerned about our door which was not working. I sent an email to the company and within a short time received a call from Rigo. He called me from home after hours. Rather than attempt to sell something, he worked me through the problem and I corrected it with his help over the phone. Who does that anymore? His focus was trying to help and I can assure you that if I need service in the future I will call Rigo. Thank you for your kindness and help We need more businesses like his.

Excellent, honest, quick, and reliable service! Darin came out right on time and was out in less than half an hour. We had previously been quoted up to $1,200 to replace springs and other work on minimal damage and he was able to repair the work, no parts needed, at a fraction of that price. He *knows his stuff* and brought forth expertise and honesty to help us get back on track. He didn't try to upsell or nickle and dime us; he incerely wanted to help us understand our garage door, its age and future possible repairs, and what we would be looking at down the road so we could avoid unnecessary repairs right now. It's rare to find honest and trustworthy people and Darin is one of them -- we won't hesitate to go with Overhead Door for future service and needs.

Overhead Door Co. installed our Stanley garage doors 30 years ago. Recently one torsion spring broke. They offered same day service to replace it! Today Austin came out and replaced the spring in under 30 minutes. The cost....less than $300. That's great service for a reasonable price. Give them a call.

This company provided superior service throughout the entire process; very responsive, competitive estimate and professional, conscientious installation technicians. We would, without any hesitation, hire them again for any future garage door, garage door opener needs. Our project involved replacement of two oversized doors on our residence (1 double & 1 single) and two new garage door openers for oversized doors on our shop. We consulted three different companies during the bid process and Rigo outperformed them all with his professionalism and expertise. The installers were the icing on the proverbial cake. They left the job site impeccably clean upon the completion of work each day. This project was a two-day job. We have lived in this home nearly 30 years and have hired various different contractors to perform numerous home improvement projects with varied experiences. The performance of everyone we interacted with for this project was definitely high quality.

What a wonderful experience they provided! Their salesman/owner, came to do the field evaluation and also bid the job. We sat at my dining room table and he explained the bid. He was very informative and answered all my questions and concerns. The price was very reasonable. At the scheduled day for (existing broken door) removal and subsequent (new door) installation, the installer showed up a few minutes early and worked until the job was finished. The installation process was very fast, and no details were missed! The installer was very clean and tidy. I was concerned about screws being left behind on the ground, but he insured me that he would be sweeping several times throughout the installation process. There was no mess left behind, and he explained how the new garage door opener (motor) worked. This company came highly recommended by several of my (custom home builder) friends, and now I understand why. This is the company you want to choose for your next garage door. You will be pleasantly impressed with the quality of work, from the bid/inspection, to the complete project.

The employees from Overhead Door did an amazing job! This company was referred to me, and Darin called me the next day. Two days later, my new garage door was installed! It looks beautiful and I am very happy. Thank you all so much. I would definitely recommend this company

Second time using Overhead Doors Tacoma and both have been great experiences. The first time was the failure of a 20+ year old door motor. The crew came out within a two days and installed a new motor - working flawlessly. The second experience was installing a custom made mahogany doors shipped from the east coast. Darin graciously had us ship it to his shop, got it prepped for installation, and again flawless installation. First rate customer service, fair prices, and exceptional work. Highly recommend!

We had to have a garage door replaced in a condo so we had to select a door company that carried the exact same brand as the other garage doors in the complex. We had a guy come up and measure and told him, at that time, that we wouldn't be ordering for several weeks. When the time came we called, placed the order and on the appointed day waited for the installers to arrive. They were 45 minutes late for a and quot;first thing in the morningand quot; appointment. They took out the existing garage door and THEN discovered they had the wrong size garage door to replace it. They wanted to know what I wanted to do.....like there was an option. They reinstalled the original door and made an appointment to come back the next day. When they arrived the following day they made quick work of the install and were gone. Everything worked fine. HOWEVER....in the estimate they included new springs/coils which they never replaced. I was so irritated with the entire procedure I never called for a partial refund. In my estimation the estimator should have noticed the sheetrock in the garage would have had to be removed to replace the springs. (At least this was what the installer told me.) The installers were nice guys but obviously there's a big lack of communication between one part of the business and another. I will not use this company again. Services Rendered: Replaced single garage door.

Pacific overhead door installed the garage door opener in our house. Getting them to schedule the job took over 2 weeks. I should have stopped with their service right there but went ahead against my better judgement. Several times I was told I would get a call back from their service scheduler. I never received a call. I finally got a hold of Courtney and she was able to schedule a time for me. Things did not get better when it was time for the opener to be installed. The technician was on time but had an attitude that he would much rather be anywhere else. He was sullen the entire time he was here. During the install the technician kept saying that he wasn't familiar with these types of garage door openers and didn't think things were right. When he pulled the opener out of the box he set it on the cement floor and then pushed the entire unit away from him to make room. This completely scratched up the unit, both the metal motor casing and the plastic casing for the lights. He didn't mention anything about it and just continued his work. He took no care in where he placed the opener button, just loosely screwed in into the wall. He left wires just hanging everywhere even though the box had included pieces to secure the wires to the wall neatly. When he left he stated that he had the belt as tight as he could get it but it didn't seem right. All of this is wrong to begin with but the worst part was the customer service by both the staff and the owner, Jim, in the office. I followed up the install with a phone call to let them know I was unsatisfied with the install. A guy in the office, Rick, requested several photographs to show his boss. I sent the photos of the damage to the casing, poor wiring and loose belt. He let me know that he recieved them and would discuss it with his boss, Jim (owner), when he returned. I did not recieve a phone call for several days. I called the office back and left a message for Rick, requesting an update to the situation. I did not receive a call back. I called again a few days later and was able to talk to Rick. He said he had not talked to his boss yet but would do so immediately and I would receive a phone call back that afternoon before the close of business. I did not receive a phone call back that day or the next. A few days later I received an email from Rick which stated 'our installer said that he did not scratch the opener so we will not go any further with this problem'. I called Rick back and left a message for him to call me. No return phone call. Several days later I called again and asked for Courtney, since she had been able to take care of things for me with scheduling. She said that she was not able to help with this problem and that Rick had to talk to the boss, Jim about the problem. She promised me a call back by the end of the day. I did not get a call back. A day later I called back and was passed to Jim, the owner. Jim told me that he believed his installer and that if the installer said that he didn't damage the unit it must have come out of the box that way. Jim informed me that the installed knew what he was doing and had been installing openers for their company for several years. He told me that he could not believe my word over his installers and would not be coming out to fix the problem. I spoke to Jim twice over several days as after the first phone call he told me that he was going to go talk to his installer again. Jim did call me back when he said he was going to but then proceeded to call me a liar, without using the word, ans told me to call Chamberlain and try to get them to replace it. He said they would come fix the wiring but that we must have gotten a defective until and that Chamberlain would need to fix the problem. I asked for a different technician to come out to fix the wiring but Jim refused saying that the original technician needed to come fix his work. I requested someone different because the first technician didn't seem to know what he was doing and showed very little care for the final product. Jim refused. I asked to have my money refunded. Jim told me that "You are welcome to get your money back anyway that you can but I will NOT be giving it back to you." He was very rude at this point. This is a company who does NOT stand behind their work and has poor craftsmanship. I recommend to anyone looking for a garage door or garage door opener install to stay far away from this company. Cost wise they are competitively priced to other installers. Services Rendered: Installed Garage Door Opener

The technician was punctual, knowledgable, and tried very hard to make the installation happen. Sadly, the previous owners of my home installed a proprietary system that could not interface with the keypad. Pacific Overhead refunded the full amount of my purchase. Services Rendered: I had purchased a deal for installation of a wireless keypad entry for my garage doors.

It was great and they did a fabulous job. When something didn't work they came back the next door and realigned it to make sure it all fit. Our electric bills have been lower so it has been good for the house. They did a wonderful job and made sure everything was cleaned up. Services Rendered: We used Pacific Overhead Door to take away 2 single garage doors and replace them with 2 new doors with new equipment.

This went very well. There was some confusion in the beginning on whether we could order the doors and install them ourselves (we couldn't, but one salesperson said we could originally), but other than that everything went very well. The doors were ordered, took about a week to come in and someone called to schedule a day to install them. The installer came and put them up in one day, and we didn't even have to be home while he was working. He also took away the old doors. Services Rendered: We had three old doors and hardware removed. Then three new doors, hardware and two garage door openers installed. We also had one opener we already owned moved to a new door. The doors are Wayne Dalton 8x7 with Stockton Glass windows. The openers are Linear LSO-50 7' chain, 1/2 Horse. These came with two openers, but no digital entry pad on the outside.
