I purchased some parts from West Coast Ironwork to repair a broken automatic gate. I installed the motor myself, but when it quit working several days later, I asked him to come out to see what the problem was. When he arrived, he provided me another part I required and I began installing it (four bolts and a couple of wires, easy) while he diagnosed the main problem with the gate. As it turns out, the product he sold me failed and he would not warrantee it himself, requiring me to deal with the company directly (shipping alone was $85). Adding insult to injury, he charged me $240 to hook up two wires, in addition to his service call. And the thing still doesn't work! Rip-off.
