Yelp1One of our garage door cables snapped; I called this company at 8:05am - said that he'd finish loading his truck and come over. An hour later, I called and left a message; he called back after a while and said that he had hit traffic and was going to get some gas and arrive here...that was more than an hour ago. I finally left a message saying not to bother coming today.

Yelp5Awesome service! He arrived on time, within an hour of speaking with him. He repaired my garage door opener that was installed by another company about 6 months prior. The original installer kept blowing me off for over a month. Above and Beyond was at my house within an hour and performed the repairs on the spot. He was very knowledgeable and very personable. Yelp1I had a horrible experience with Dennis and Above & Beyond---this is in early 2021 so it can't be blamed on prior management or employees. The man is not trustworthy and does not follow up or return calls or Emails. Do not use this company under any circumstances. Read all the negative reviews here on Yelp which have been covered up by newer shills.

Yelp5The owner is outstanding. He puts his heart and soul into everything about garage doors, openers etc and was very helpful. The technician who came over was fabulous! Very experienced and courteous! The door we had wasn't closing securely enough. In about 10 seconds the technician figured it out and fixed the matter. I would highly recommend these guys to everyone.

Yelp5These guys were great - We moved into a new house and had to redo our stoop right away because it was a hazard which means we lost access to our front door - our garage door was manual so we needed openers installed ASAP since I was 8 months pregnant and couldn't be lifting a garage door up and down myself - I called and explained the situation to Dennis who came to our home to assess the work that needed to be done and had two guys at our house the NEXT DAY - they did a custom fit because of a panel we had going through the middle of our garage and they were done in a couple of hours and even helped me set up the codes on it after they were finished - I would highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to do garage work not only because they were professional but all around nice guys.

Yelp5Before you judge this company, note most of their negative reviews date back to 2014. I asked about this, had to do with former employees. I called them on Monday, he gave me a rough estimate to replace the two springs over the phone. I didn't want them wasting their time coming here for a free estimate so he gave me a high and low price, which worked for me. He gave me some additional pricing in case I needed new cables, pulleys, and a few other things. I scheduled for Wednesday. It was all 1-2-3 on the phone. Gentleman showed up on-time Wednesday, replaced two springs, weather stripping, and the pulleys. Took all of 20-minutes. Clean, professional, greased both doors up, that was it. We didn't plan for the new weather stripping so he didn't have enough for both doors. I paid him in advance and sure enough he came back as promised the next day to replace it on the second door. While I didn't shop around, the price was fair, and I'm not going to waste hours shopping around to save a few bucks. Nothing beats finding service professionals skilled in their trades so you have people you can count on when you need them. They are definitely my garage door go-to company moving forward. Thank you!

Yelp5When I was looking to have some garage door openers installed I called a different company first. I explained what I wanted and they said it would cost $69 for a service call, but that would be applied to the cost of the service if I went with them. But if I didn't go with them, I'd lose the money. That sounded insane to me, so I called Above and Beyond and spoke with Dennis. He agreed it's nuts to have to pay to get an estimate for work, and he came right over and looked at my garage. He gave me an extremely fair price to install two garage door openers, along with two remotes, two interior buttons, sensors, struts, and a keypad. I called yesterday to see when he would be available to do the work, and less than 24 hours later he came with his assistant and the entire job was completed in less than two hours. The work looks great and professional, and I couldn't be happier with the service. I highly recommend calling Dennis for all of your garage door needs.
