Google5Very friendly and efficient, from taking my call yesterday when they offered to get me in for a same day appointment to the eventual appointment today. Tom arrived early and diagnosed the problem (ancient motor) immediately. Unf, I had to buy a new motor, but he installed it in a timely fashion and explained everything thoroughly and also exchanged the old wiring so that I wouldn't be worried about those! Great service!

Google5Called the day one of our garage door opener cables broke. We got a same day appointment without difficulty. Tom showed up on time and was great about explaining what had gone wrong and our options. We made our choices and he proceeded to install new parts and afterwards explained all its operations (where the back-up battery was, etc.). An excellent experience. The price was more than we had expected.

Google5Great experience with everyone at Automatic Garage Door here in SF. Garage door wasn't opening and so I called and spoke to Tina. She was very friendly and was able to arrange an appointment same-day. Tom arrived on time (early in fact) and immediately diagnosed the issue (broken spring). He was very transparent with pricing and had the replacement part on his truck. About 40 minutes later, our garage door was fixed and working like new. Tom was friendly, professional and efficient. Highly recommend them.

Google5Marco arrived within an hour of us calling, fixed the broken rail and wheel that was preventing our garage door from opening and closing, and did maintenance on the whole door — all within about an hour. Very impressed! Marco is friendly and super considerate as well; he closed our side door every time he used it, even though he had to keep going back and forth for tools and parts, preventing potential theft. We’ve been relying on Automatic Garage Door for decades and will continue to. Outstanding local business.

Google5Great service! Our garage door was stuck, with a bent roller and a dislodged cable. Kevin showed up right on time and fixed it within half an hour for the previously agreed $155 flat fee. He also checked the motor and made sure it’s set up correctly. Very happy, and I great experience overall.

Google5Oh my goodness, the technician Mr. Tom 100 stars he came through. He took care of the garage sensors in a matter of minutes very nice, polite, gentle human being his aura. His energy is wonderful. He’s a present person to be around. I’m glad you guys have him working for your company.

Google5Automatic Garage Doors have been our go to business since the 1980’s. Marco was knowledgeable, respectful and honest. No high pressure sales talk. He evaluated our garage door and all we needed were replacement rollers, cleaning and lubricating the metal track. The price was very reasonable. We are staying with them in the future. Thanks for a job well done!

Yelp5I litterly woke up this morning and opened my garage door and of course the spring on the garage door broke. My car was stuck in the garage because I could not open the garage door. Needless to say I was all pist off and crankly because I had to be at work. I call one another place, I got a receptionist and she stated, " We can't send anyone out to quote you till tomorrow at noon." Okay...that's nice but I can't get my car out. I had to get my husband help me manually open the garage door from the inside which is very heavy ( I don't think people should do this....you can blow out your back like that...this is after the fact... I realized that it was not a good idea if your old). I called Austin and he personally answered the phone and stated that he can help me fix this in 30 minutes if it is just the spring. I asked him how much it would approximately be to fix the springs and he said about $250 to $360. I sent him a picture of my garage door and he said he can get the spring and be over in 30 minutes. I really like when they can answer their phone directly so you don't have to deal with a receptionist. Austin came over in less than 30 minutes and fixed my garage door in 30 min. He replaced both my springs on my garage door and it was $350. That was because I replaced both springs. If I wanted it cheaper I could of only replaced one of the springs. But why would I want to wake up to a broken garage door next month after I fixed one spring. Typically, garage door springs lasts about 7 to 8 years, so if it's about that time better to just replace both of them. Overall, I had a great experience. He came the same day ( I got really lucky), he came in less than 30 minutes, did a great job and I felt like the price is reasonable. Thank you Austin!!

Yelp5My garage door spring became weak and all of sudden it became hard to open. It would only lift with some manual efforts. I called Austin and explained him the problem. He provided a reasonable quote for the problem. I did shop around and the prices were around similar. So I decided to hire him for the work as he was the one who I talked earlier. He did told me he would come next day and I was flexible with that. He did showed up in the time window he mentioned and did answered all my questions. He was quite patient and he did finished his work around the expected time he mentioned me initially. He did brought all the parts upfront and fixed the issue in about an hour. He also cleaned up anything that Beale meat during installation. I was happy with his work. The only thing I was not happy was his voicemail is full and it is not possible to leave a message. May be try texting him instead. It would be good if he can delete old messages so potential customers can atleast leave a voicemail when they are unable to reach you.

Yelp5I don't often write reviews, but am grateful for the repair work Austin did for our garage and would like to share our experience. I backed into our garage door before it fully retracted and damaged the lower portion of the door; the bottom panel was bent and the wood beam holding it snapped. Everywhere we turned ended up telling us to replace the door. Austin showed up sharing his idea on how to fix it. He did exactly that with skill and proficiency. The panel straightened out and our garage door continue to function as before. We were also at Home Depot trying to buy a new door - they said wait time was 12 weeks.

Yelp1Austin helped me twice on my door but then I asked him to replace my door and that's when things took a turn. I ordered the door over 8 months ago with a 50% deposit and was told it would be ready in May or latest June. It's currently November. He has not returned my calls and is not responsive. Unfortunately I believe he is not a legitimate business and is scamming customers. I will most likely have to take legal action to get my money back.

Yelp5I needed my garage door repaired since the spring broke. I called Austin and he initially said he could not be at my residence until tomorrow. However, thirty minutes later, he called back and said he can be at my place within 10 minutes or so. He arrived on time and preceded to replace the spring. He did an excellent job. He is polite and works efficiently. He even cleaned the front cover of the garage door opener attached the wall. I would strongly recommend Austin for any garage door work you need.
