Yelp5I was referred to Bay City Garage Doors by a contractor friend of mine. The issue I was facing on the garage door was a sheared bottom bracket due to a locked cable. Had a quick call with Mike and sent him a couple of pictures. He turned up at the time we agreed on and had everything fixed within the hour with a real price for the work that was undertaken (another garage door company had recommended a lot more work that was just not needed). I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mike and his company.

Yelp5Found Bay City Garage Doors from the Genie website. Mike answered my phone. It could be just my remote control was broken, or I might need to change the entire garage door opener so I asked many questions. Mike was very courteous and patient. He quoted a price for a new opener a few hundred dollars less than another company I talked to. He came and helped me tune in a new remote. Voila. Even this tune in service was 60% less than what the other company quoted. I highly recommended Mike.

The price was great the timing was awesome (some places told us we'd be MONTHS away from getting a door). Quick and reliable interaction gave us every option available for what we needed. Instillation was a breeze and they are SO tidy with their work. I have recommended them to family and co workers who have already placed orders. Extremely satisfied!

Yelp5I found an old invoice for Bay City garage doors in my grandfather's paperwork and decided to Google the business to see if it was still around. Many positive reviews, so I took that as a good sign and contacted Mike for a quote. Both of my garage doors needed new bottom panels as the old ones were rotted away. Mike gave me a reasonable quote and explained everything in full detail...Even the fact that frames on the new panels would be off by an of an inch due to how they are manufactured nowadays...fine by me! I needed 2 panels on one garage and one panel on the other. Because I wasn't replacing the whole doors, I had enough in my budget for a lift master on the main garage. On installation day Mike showed up with his son, who he's teaching the business to. They both worked quickly and efficiently. The panels came primed so all I had to do was paint them. Mike replaced some of the rollers on my tracks and greased everything up. He installed the LiftMaster and explained how to use it. I got the one that has a mobile app which is very convenient because I can use my cell phone to open the door. It also can be set up to send you notifications when the garage is opened, closed or stopped (a good option if you go on vacation) plus you can always see the opened/closed status for peace of mind. I am very happy with Bay City Garage and Mike McBride and would gladly refer him to family and neighbors.

Yelp5Found Mike from Bay City Garage Door at the Genie website. He is listed as Silver ranking. From the moment I started talking to Mike he is very informative in the Genie product which the one he uses the most is Genie model 3024. After 20+ yrs my Genie Stealth Pro finally gave up and made clicking sounds, I switched the board to no avail so had to get a new one. Mike and his helper Robert changed everything and in no time it was ready. Model 3024 has c-rail for safety, battery backup, uses belt drive that is really quiet, Homelink compatible to your car and the best part is that there is no crazy humming sound and if you have a bedroom above the garage you got peaceful sleep tonight. Mike changes about 3-4 a week of this model so about 16 a month so he is pretty well versed on Genie. He also does Liftmasters and changes the springs in your garage as well. I know Mike is good because the sensor pods that was installed had electrical tape around the contact. The small details show that you care about what you do for your customer which is always a job done right. Kudos first class work. Thanks Mike and Robert for your help!

Yelp5My garage door came off alignment and got stuck. Mike was able to come out for a quick repair and for a reasonable rate. He even replaced a missing bolt and greased up the joints. Now the garage opens and closes much smoother. Quality service and expert knowledge.

Yelp5Just had two single doors installed by the owner Mike McBride. He provided me with a written quote and materials to look at before I chose what I wanted. He is very knowledgeable and is a career garage door guy. The work was done in two days, he left the garage clean considering what a mess the removal and replacement of everything must have been. Communication with him was easy via text. I'm very pleased with my two beautiful new doors and their quiet openers! I hope I never need this large expense again, but I will definitely be calling Mike should I need repairs in the future. I highly recommend him!
