Yelp5Amazing service! When our garage door wouldn't close, I attempted to fix it myself (HAHAHA). To give myself credit, I did figure out how to fix the error message and locate the real issue. But when I attempted to explain it to someone, they told me it was time to call a repairman. One quick search and Best & Local came up first...and with the best reviews. I called around 2PM and they were at our house by 5PM. They even called twice with updates on the ETA which was great. It took ~30 minutes for them to fix the issue. The friendly service was icing on the cake. I would highly recommend them for any garage services!

Yelp5Called at 11, tech was here at 1:30. Needed to replace the 25 year old opener. Offered a "regular" or an upgrade with a lifetime warranty. I took the upgrade. Install took about 1 1/2 hours. New opener. belt, rail, etc. Great service.

Yelp1We wanted to replace our garage door and opener with battery backup and came across Best&Local in Yelp. Called them and asked for Adi but spoke to David instead. We set up an appointment for an estimate on a new garage door for Thurs from 2-4pm and was told I would be getting a call/text from their tech 30mins before arrival. On the day of the appt, I got back from work 30 mins before 2p. I waited til 4:15pm, and no one showed up. I also didn't receive any calls/texts that they're late or won't be showing up. I called Best&Local and David answered, and I informed him that no one showed up for my appointment nor called me with any updates. He said there was a system error and didn't know what happened nor why no one called me? I waited over 2.5 hours for their technician and was quite disappointed. David said I could send him an email with pictures of my garage door and provide him with the door measurements and he could provide me with an estimate for a new garage door. I sent the pictures and measurements of my garage door to bestlocalservice@gmail.com. A week has passed since I emailed Best&Local and I still have not received a response from them (checked my spam folder as well). I had really wanted to work with them based on their reviews and to support local businesses. Hopefully, they will show up to your appointment and won't waste your time. From the good reviews they have, wish I had that experience with them.

I went in not knowing anything about the spring repair we needed and he was so helpful in making sure I understood what I needed, what he was doing, and how much it would cost. The price was beyond fair compared to other quotes and they came out next day. Easy communication, easy repair - I highly recommend Adi and thus company.

Our technician was Ben, he was very polite and quickly assessed the work that needed to be done for our garage opener. We would definitely use their services again or recommend to friends & family. Yelp5Adi sent a guy right away to help with stalled garage door. The guy showed up on time and patiently explained the issue. He proposed installing a new belt drive system at a competitive price. We could not find a day and time to install but overall good experience working with them.

Yelp5I was looking for help with a snapped cable on my garage door and I turned to Yelp. Best and Local responded promptly and had a technician (Ben) out at my property within a couple of hours! I appreciated that Ben texted me prior to his arrival and he was professional and courteous throughout. His quote was very reasonable and he was able to fix my garage door problem right away! Yelp5Well after fighting with my garage door opener for the past month and almost losing a hand when it the door decided to close suddenly I knew it was time to get a professional involved. I called Best & Local on a Saturday and they responded quickly, in fact they were able to come out the next day even though it was Sunday. Ben arrived when he said he would and was able to replace my garage door motor/ opener that day without any trouble. My old motor was from the 80s so time for a new one. Compared to other quotes they charged a very reasonable fee for labor and the new motor/opener. Yay ! much quieter with wifi control and battery back up. Problem solved ! No more stress or danger of garage doors closing on me. Would highly recommend Ben & Co. thanks

Yelp5Review updated I am really happy with how the company handled the miscommunication and tried to find a solutions for my situation. In addition I am very happy of the final result and the new garage door looks great Recap: I contacted the office and requested a quote for a new door and Ben from the company came to my place. He was very nice and professional and provided a quote quickly. He was also very nice in answering all my questions and applying the 10% discount you get through Yelp. After the initial quote it took me around 2 weeks to take a decision. The expense was significant and I wanted to be sure on the choice of door and the relevant details. However, in 2 weeks the cost of steel increased and the company increased pricing. I was very disappointed but Adi, the owner, really tried to find a solution and managed to provide an installation in a super reasonable timeframe and meeting all my expectations
