Angi1Dean told us he thought he could get the existing motor to work. We were also fine with installing a new motor if necessary. Instead, he sent out a guy from his company that didn't seem to know what he was doing. Rather than focus on the motor, the guy installed new hinges and re-hung the door -- something that was already working perfectly. He wound up hanging the door too high and it wouldn't open completely because it hit the top of the casing. So not only did it still not work, but they had made it worse. We called Dean to find out when they were going to fix all this and he told us that he no longer wanted our job, that he was too busy and that he shouldn't have taken it in the first place. He offered to pay us $100 for messing up the door (we payed him nothing). He put us in such a terrible position after he wasted three weeks of our time - we are in escrow and need to have this fixed in a little over one week. We have never dealt with such an unprofessional company. Services Rendered: We had a new garage door built and installed. Unfortunately the new door was too heavy for our old motor, so Dean's company came out to try to fix our motor or put in a new one.
