I had a great experience with Econo-Doormasters recently. Our garage door was not closing on an intermittent basis and called for a service. The technician adjusted the detector on the door and did routine maintenance but the next day the door was still acting up. (Evidently when he tested it he thought it was repaired.) I called in to the office to say the door was still not closing reliably and they sent another technician the very next day. He was able to fix the door and now it closes smoothly every time. No hassle and no extra charge for the follow up visit- I don't think you see that level of service these days. I will continue to use this garage door company and highly recommend them.

Econo-Doormasters installed the garage doors for my HOA complex something like 10 years ago. The installation was smooth and the doors have worked great - a huge upgrade from what we had before. Lately though my garage door has been frequently refusing to close. I called Econo-Doormasters and left a message, and the next morning I got a wonderfully detailed message back from Richard about how to locate and clean the safety sensors and how to know whether they've been knocked out of alignment and how to align them if they were. It worked and my garage door has been behaving so much better! I appreciate these guys and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them in the future!

Outstanding Service. I had used their service twice in the past year. I used them last year to replace the gear assembly for one of the garage door openers. They ordered the part and came back to install it. I called them back again recently to fix a flaky wall mounted garage door control. Both the jobs were done very professionally and everything works great with the garage doors.

My garage door's spring and cables broke. I gave a call to econo-doormasters. They quoted me over the phone a lower quote than a competitor. Got over to my place in 30 mins. The technician Amandeep recommended to install two springs and got the job done under 1 hr. Amazing!

We are very pleased with the quality of the work. Jeff has the highest ethical values and will do everything within his reach to keep customers 100% satisfied. We have received many compliments from neighbors. They all love our garage door. It looks really sharp from the inside and from the outside. Staff is respectful and knowledgeable. About a year and half after installation, we notice that the powder coating was peeling off one of the door sections. The door has lifetime warranty. First the manufacturer ships a replacement for the section with the issue. After Jeff's team swaps the section, we realize that the new section does not line up with the other ones due to the way the door is manufactured. Jeff intercedes on our behalf and asks the door manufacturer to ship replacements for all three door sections. First, manufacturer is reluctant to do so. After many conversations, Jeff convinces the manufacturer to honor the warranty agreement and to ship us a new set of sections for free. We are very happy about the way Jeff conducts business and highly recommend him. He keeps an eye on every detail. Services Rendered: Installed carriage style aluminum garage door, garage door opener and wall switches to open/close garage door. One year after installation, performed quick tune-up and door closes very quietly again.

Our garage door opener suddenly stopped working leaving us with one car in the garage and the other out. Called Econo-Doormaster and left a message. I got a call back within an hour and arranged for a technician to come out the next day. The technician arrived a few minutes before his scheduled time and quickly reattached the opener. He adjusted the opener, oiled all the moving parts and ran the system several times to make sure everything was working properly. Eric, the technician was personable and competent. Services Rendered: Technician arrived on time. Assessed the problem quickly and reinstalled the railing. He adjusted the opener and oiled all hinges and tracks. Opener was 18 years old and acting up. I tried to fix, but wasn't able to get it operating properly. I was willing to have it replaced. Over the phone Glenn seemed to think it might just need adjustment. He came promptly the next day and serviced it. I will certainly call them when it finally needs to be replaced. Contractor came to view the garage in September and took measurements, provided an estimate and approx. schedule to custom build and for installation. This is an older garage and probably the original. We did not want a roll-up, sectional door preferring to keep the outside appearance of the door consistent with the original construction. I found Econo-Doormasters (aka J.W. Doormasters of the Peninsula) on a home improvements webpage for eichler homes, then searched Angie's List for reviews and info. Contractor responded to the phone call the next day and scheduled a review the following week. We made a $500 deposit on September 5th and work was started to build the door. Door was completed within the 4 week timeframe the contractor provided and installed on October 10th. Contractor arrived on-time, started the work and was finished in less than 4 hours. Contractor and one helper were professional, friendly and courteous and very efficient. They wasted no time. We painted the door to go with the new house color, as well. It looks great and is very easy to lift and use. Closes securely. The next door neighbor inquired about the contractor after seeing the finished product and will probably call for the same. Services Rendered: Contractor provided a new custom-built, 1-piece garage door of clear fill frame, M.D.O. plywood face material, with new hardware, side latch lock & center handle, unpainted. This was a manual door installation for $1710 total cost. Also, removed existing 1-piece door & hardware, and hauled away for $66. This was a difficult build because a room existed in 2/3 of the garage space, not allowing for roll-up door or sectional door. We preferred a single piece door same as the original construction.
