Yelp5Garen has serviced our garage door on two occasions: once, when an old spring broke, and on another when the top panel cracked and had to be replaced. Both times he came over right away, clearly explained what needed to be done and the cost, and quickly completed the work. When the new panel was being installed, we decided that it was also time to replace our ancient garage door opener with a new model, one that is quiet, with a camera, and can operate remotely with an app. Garen explained options and his quote was very fair (we had compared online). Garen is friendly and truly cares that his customers are happy with his work. We're pleased that we hired him and highly recommend Garen and GS Overhead Systems.

Yelp5Incredibly responsive? Our garage door popped a spring, and my elderly dad couldn't get to his scooter. They were there in under two hours, and an hour later we had two new springs. Can't ask for more than that.

Yelp5My old garage door opener finally bit the dust after many many years and it appeared well beyond any simple repair. When I called, Garen responded quickly to my call and after letting him know of my old model and situation he recommended a replacement he had in stock and was able to come over at my first availability. He arrived on time and proceeded to get to work replacing my old opener and finished the job exactly as indicated. The new opener he recommended is great and compliant with new rules requiring a battery back up. I highly recommend GS Overhead Systems. They were very reliable, reasonably priced, responsive, and friendly.

Yelp5One of the cables of our carriage garage door broke, tearing the metal plate that holds the cable to the door. The garage door was stuck three feet above the ground, and could not be manually dislodged. Garin came out within 24 hours to do the repair. He managed to free up the door (I don't know he did it), and then replaced both the plate and cable. Garin completed the repair within an hour. He fully explained the nature of the repair and was exceptionally courteous. The fee was quite reasonable, and the quality of service was superior. Ah, if only all companies in the repair industry were like GS Garage Overhead. Highly recommended. nb I read all the reviews for GS Overhead. I am at a loss to understand the very negative review from 2/04/22. Just at a loss.

Yelp1I am un incredibly disappointed with this business. The repair person showed up and from what I can tell there was a bolt missing connecting the motor to the actual garage door. He asked me if that is where it was attached and that was my first red flag, isn't this your job to know where things are attached? Then he proceeded to tell me it would cost me $179 to put a bolt in it. I was shocked at what he was suggesting the repair fee was for a bolt. When I expressed this, he said he would do it for $150. I sent him away and went to the hardware store. Spent $1.02 and did it ourselves. I will never use this business again, definitely tried to rip me off.

Yelp5I called a couple of local places & Garin was the first to get back to me & had the best prices. He was able to come-out just a couple days after we spoke to install my new Lift Master motor. He did such a nice job & took all the old equipment so I didn't have to worry with it. He took the extra effort to walk me through the features vs just handing me the manual. Thank you Garin! We will use you again.

Yelp5Our Garage door broke, a cable had come undone after the door banged into a chair. We called GS systems out to take a look. They answered our call right away, set an appt. for the next day. They showed up on time, and fixed the problem quickly at a good price. Great service all around, would highly recommend.

Yelp5My garage door got stuck on an extension cord and came off the tracks. Since it is an older garage door, many of the hinges and screws popped off. It was a Sunday and i was desperate, so i saw all the 5 Star reviews for GS OVERHEAD SYSTEMS and gave them a call. Garen called me back within an hour and confirmed with me that i was able to get my garage door closed. He told me since the garage was secure, he would be out the next day to fix it. Garen showed up right on time with his tools and fixed the issue quickly. The price was more than reasonable, much less than i was expecting to pay. He also told me that my garage door operating system is a LiftMaster, and was approximately 18 years old. He stated that LiftMaster is an excellent brand and the life expectancy of the motor is about 15 years. He examined it and told me that it seemed to be in good operating shape still and didn't need replacement at this time. I appreciated his honesty, his quick response, excellent work, and his reasonable pricing for his services. I recommend GS OVERHEAD SYSTEMS 100% !!!

Yelp5GS Overhead did a FANTASTIC job. We have an older door that would not open. The technician was right on time and diagnosed the issue as a broken spring. We had him replace both springs. He also braced one of the panels. Please use GS Overhead for your garage door issues. On time, reasonable cost, efficient service. 5 STARS!!!

Angi5My garage door wouldn't close. I called GS Overhead Systems as they installed the door. They walked me through making sure the cameras were lined up correctly. As it turned out, there was something blocking the door from closing. Once moved, the door closed. Services Rendered: Walked me through why the garage door wouldn't close.

Angi5The owner came out and gave me a bid. He asked detailed questions about what I wanted regarding the garage door and opener. He was on time for appointments and charged me less than he estimated. He was professional, did a great clean-up job, and even took some things I had in my garage to the dump. I am very happy with the job he did and would recommend him to my friends. Services Rendered: Replaced my garage door and opener. Removed old materials.

Angi5We had initially wanted a wood door, but he recommended that we take a look at the metal ones. I thought it was a good idea to get metal ones in the first place but my wife was big on the wood ones. He brought a sample by and we went with the metal and ended up saving at least a thousand dollars. We'll be better off with the metal in terms of resistance. We could have spent a whole lot more money. Services Rendered: He came to put in the garage door.
