Yelp5This was our first experience with JJ Accurate but based in this experience I recommend Julian highly. One of the springs in our our two car garage door broke. We called Julian around 4 pm and he gave us an appointment for the next day. He was on time and very professional. He explained what he would be doing and replaced the springs quickly. He also cleaned and lubed the hinges, tracks, and rollers. Not only for the door he fixed but also our second garage door! Julian is soft spoken, customer oriented, and very professional.

Yelp5Overdue review from early 2019. Then: Reasonable quote, fast service, Julian is professional and did a great job replacing our old opener and realigning the door, which had never worked right. The new opener is so quiet that I can't hear the door open when I'm in the room next to the garage - only way I can tell when spouse gets home is loud music from the car, not the grinding gears of the old garage door opener! Now: garage door still operating flawlessly, no alignment issues, and the upgrade to a belt drive opener with MyQ was great. But unfortunately we moved so someone else is enjoying the nice quiet opener now.

Yelp5Julian installed a new door opener and replaced the spring which was broken. Julian did a great job! Very professional and great customer service as well. I had called Julian 5 times and he answered every call and explained in detail what needed to be done and with a timeline! The job was completed on time and he walked me through all the door settings! The price for this job was very reasonable compared to a couple other quotes I received! Highly recommended!

Yelp5Great businesses have great people! Julian and his team are just that. My garage spring broke and we were unable to open and close our garage door. So for me this was an urgent matter. I was referred to Julian. I called him and he answered his phone! He came out next day. My garage door was almost 30 years old and he recommended a new one. He ordered and installed a door in three days. The price was reasonable and we are very happy with the service and quality of the door. We went with the insulated door. The door blocks air from coming into the garage and our garage is a lot warmer which keeps the house warmer. Its nice to deal with a straight shooter who knows what they are doing and guides you thru the process with speed and grace. As a women I respect businesses who respect my judgement and don't automatically defer or lock into conversing with my boyfriend who isn't doing the buying. Women will understand. Great service and attitude. Very appreciative for JJ resolving my garage door problem. Never thought I would love a garage door, but I do!

Yelp5I needed two new motors for my two garage doors so I decided to pick a vendor from Yelp. I came across Julian from JJ Accurate. I called and guess what, Julian (the owner of the company) answered the phone. It is always nice when the owner answers the phone. I told him what I needed and he scheduled a time the very next day to come out. He showed at the exact time he said, sort of a rare thing these days with vendors. Julian gave me options and ultimately installed two garage motors for me. Him and his crew were efficient, quick, and very reasonably priced. I will be referring JJ Accurate to all of my clients for their garage door needs. Thanks Julian!

Yelp1Beware, if an adjustment is all you need. My garage door opener was misbehaving. A friend that had fixed it once before could not remedy the symptoms so I conceded to seek help. JJ's was the closest to me so I gave them a call first. "$85 if nothing is broken." I was told by the tech, "I can be there in 20 minutes." I was impressed. Having an errand to run, I inquired about his availability and he agreed to a call upon my return home. I took the opportunity to check the market and entered my project details into a yelp help form and received 4 more service quotes plus a bonus video from one of the interested door companies. It was a suggestion and 'how to' remedy a problem, which I appreciated. JJ's was the least expensive, close, and available. I walked out of my garage and waved when he pulled up. He got out and took a call as he walked up the short driveway. He hand signaled me that he would be just a moment. We stood in my garage for several minutes as he closed a $2800 deal with another customer. He then turned to me and asked me to explain the problem. I did; and added the comment from the company that sent the video about the sensors. He checked both sensors, climbed the step stool I had out below the opener and asked for a screwdriver. I handed him one from my bench and the remote control. He ran the door down and it came right back up. That was my problem. I couldn't get it to stay down. He took off the front light cover. I wiped it and set it aside. He opened the back light cover and handed it to me as he looked at whatever he was looking at and moved to the side where the travel dials are... I had stepped away and stuck my head in the back door and asked my Mother to come out. When I turned around he had the side panel open and a part in his hand. He proceeded to tell us that the part was broken and he would have to call the manufacturer to see if he could get a replacement part. He embellished this with the information about the new California law requirements -that being all garage door openers must have a battery powered back up in the case that power failure to the home would not render its occupants trapped by failure to open the garage door- and said it could be hard to get parts as a result of that. I had interjected and asked if he would mind if I took a look at the part he had pulled out of our opener. I examined it carefully, comparing it to it's twin part that remained intact inside the machine. It did not appear to be damaged. He finished by stating if the part was not available he could certainly install a new garage door opener for us, that it would be "to code" with the new law, and that it would run in a the neighborhood of $600. He hadn't even tried to make any adjustments prior to taking things apart, I was uneasy. I handed him the part and commented that it didn't appear to be damaged, that it looked to me to be a simple mechanical piece and perhaps an adjustment could be the solution. He gave it back to me and indicated he was sticking with his plan. He said he'd call about the part and send me a text. Needless to say I didn't hear from Julian at all. I didn't bother calling them. I really can't say what the intentions were in this situation, but I was left with a garage door opener in pieces and a fair amount of suspicion. Just sayin.

Yelp5I didn't know my garage door was broken until Friday evening. Julian came within 45 minutes as he said he would and 20 minutes later had the broken springs replaced and my door works again!
