Yelp5Jhon replaced a broken belt on my very old original garage door opener. He gave me a few options and costs with pros/cons to make an informed decision (replace the garage door opener, replace the belt). He wasn't pushy about trying to upsell me to replacing the garage door opener. Jhon was very responsive and provided a competitive estimate.

Yelp5Just an update to say we used JT again recently when we suddenly found our garage door unable to open at all. After trying a few basic things myself and not finding the problem, I gave JT a call. First of all, I was super impressed when he was able to ask me just 2 questions over the phone and based on just those two answers he diagnosed the problem - a broken door spring that I hadn't even considered or noticed! But after he said it sounded like a broken spring and told me where to look - yup, it was absolutely (clearly) broken! Nice job to diagnose that over the phone in less than a minute. He was all booked up for the day but when he heard both of our cars were trapped in the garage, he very kindly offered to come late after his day was supposed to end to repair it. So he showed up at like 6:30p and was obviously tired from a long day, but we SO MUCH appreciated him going out of his way to help us. He replaced the spring very quickly and got our door opening again. Thanks Jon! And did so at a very fair price (again). Quality work at a fair price by a person who goes above and beyond with his service. Can't get any better than that.

Yelp5Jon is really the best! His fixed my garage doors many years ago when the "spring"/coil snapped and I was trapped inside the garage. One call, and he's on his way. I didn't know what the problem is but over the phone, he asked for details and was able to diagnosed the problem and came over with a replacement. No need to wait for any orders of a new coil, no delay at all. Today, he came by when our garage door couldn't close. He did a thorough check-up of every single issue that could go wrong with garage doors, including testing the remote controls, the sensors etc. etc. He is really an expert. Very professional in his approach as well and never any extra charges. I highly recommend him for all your garage door needs.

Yelp5Our garage door coil snapped Friday late afternoon and needed replacement soon. Jonathan responded fast and replaced the coil early morning on Saturday. Jonathan did an excellent job replacing the coil, we had some followup to adjust and he was very receptive to our calls and usually came out within 2-3 hours from contacting. We will use and recommend JT Garage Doors for any garage door work needed.

Yelp1Theirs business is terrible at responding. We contacted them and they said they are coming that way. Then they texted and said they would come that evening. I asked to reschedule to next day. They said yes but never come the next day. I followed again and no response at all. I don't recommend this business.

Yelp5Very prompt response. Came the same day that we had issues with the garage door. We paid way more for another person previously to fix the garage door and he was able to diagnose and fix the issue much faster and cheaper. He also fix the other repair man's mistakes. We will be using him for all of our garage door needs in the future!
