Yelp5Jack is GOLD. We had a super complicated job that we were having issues even just getting quotes for from other companies but Jack was the only one who actually showed up to look at it. He suggested some really great options, gave us a good quote for the whole project, and actually got it done within the ridiculous time frame that we needed. It turned out WAY nicer than I expected and I couldn't have been happier with the way it all turned out. When in doubt, Jack is your guy.

Yelp2Our new house has a sliding driveway gate installed by Norman's sometime last year, and it is poorly installed (The gate is misaligned a bit and does not close properly unless I carefully guide it in). I've called the company 3 times in the past 6 months to have them fix the issue, but only got false promises; I'd even appreciate them being upfront and saying they won't attend to this. I wouldn't recommend this company.

Yelp5We were looking to have a garage door installed but were told by multiple companies our opening was too narrow for a sectional roll-up door. Jack, a true professional, came out, figured out a solution and made it work. Our new door looks and operates great. We didn't lose any clearance.

Yelp1HORRIBLE is the only way to describe my experience with this company. I hired Jack to repair a lock on my garage while I was out of town because there were break-ins in the area. He charged me $220. First off, The lock didn't fit the door and the wood frame was all torn up from three attempts to mount the bracket in different places . Secondly the lock didn't work and jammed the door when used. The lock was lopsided when mounted and apparently it wasn't tested after the install). Finally, regular screws were used to mount it (seriously) so someone could just unfasten the lock and break-in. When I called to complain Jack said he didn't see it because he had one of his guys do the work, but he would come out the next day to do a proper install. Five days, four no-shows and as many follow-up calls later, finally someone came by to install the lock properly. A check for $50 was left behind (although I spent $75 hiring a carpenter to fix the damage and paint it.) I've got some great pictures of the job if anyone's interested.

Yelp5Prompt, efficient and reasonable! Our garage door broke and we needed it repaired asap. Jack (owner) called us back promptly and said he'd be here in a few hours. He did a great job and I would definitely recommend him!

Yelp5I highly recommend Norman's Overhead Doors! I called about 3 in the afternoon after one of the springs in my garage door broke. Both our cars were inside the garage, so I was car-less until I could get the garage door fixed. Jack showed up about 1-1/2 hrs after I called. He did the repair, and also greased and tightened all the joints. Not only do I have new springs, but my garage door is WAY quieter too! Timely, efficient, friendly, and the cost was reasonable too. What more could you ask?!

Yelp5A+ service response, reasonable prices, and just an overall great team. Jack from Norman's and I just went through a tough install. In the end the result was just perfect! I could not be happier. I ordered my door through a retail house and finally found Norman's. I wish I had gone the other way with Norman's first. The retail house sent undersized parts for the weight of the door, and it was a mess; the shaft bent, the door wouldn't open, utter chaos. Jack was there to help me get things straight. He gave me a detailed list of what I needed, which armed me with the knowledge to get the retail house to send the proper parts. My advice, call Jack before you buy. He knows what he is doing, he knows what any matter of garage needs, and he'll make sure the job is done right, even if it means correcting other people's errors.

Yelp5I called Norman to help me with a garage door problem I had. He was very friendly and sounded very knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my problem and gave me some suggestions to fix it. And those worked out and fixed my problem !

Yelp5Norman's installed our garage door opener a couple of years ago and did a great job. Since then, they have helped me adjust settings via the phone. They have always been accessible and knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend them!
