Google5Northgate is exactly what one is looking for: a company that just goes about its business reliably and without a hard-sell. They gave an accurate estimate over the phone, scheduled a prompt appointment arrived on-time and did a smooth install. Working with them, I learned that another company pretending to be local would have charged me 150% for the exact same work.

Google5Our garage door broke, precluding us from being able to enter / access. I noticed the "Northgate Garage Doors" sticker on the door and called for help. Not only did they get out to me the very next day but they also accommodated my request to be their 1st appointment so that my garage could be fixed prior to a separate appointment I had later that day (that required access thru the garage door). Kind, professional, efficient, and at a great price. I'd strongly recommend to any / all with garage door needs.

Google5I was so impressed with Arden from Northgate Garage Doors. He was easy to talk to and he listened to my concerns about the garage door that was installed 2 years earlier by another company. He assessed the problem right away and told me what he was going to do. He did a thorough check up on the door to assess any other issues. When he was done, he reviewed his work and pointed out a few things that I didn't know about my relatively new garage door opener. He suggested the ongoing proper maintenance for smooth operation of the door. From start to finish, Arden was a professional through and through. I would highly recommend him and Northgate Garage Doors. Such a breath of fresh air to get someone who really goes the extra mile to make sure the job is completed in a quality manner.

Google5We just had our garage door replaced by Northgate Garage Doors. It was a wonderful experience at every step. Greg, the owner, came out to give us an estimate. He was professional, knew every possible thing about our door choices and answered all our questions. He made us feel that we were in good hands. He immediately sent an estimate and we ordered. The door came when he said it would and he sent Dale to install. He did a fabulous job installing and explaining how to use our new door. We wish all our interactions with companies were as great as this. We highly recommend Northgate Garage Doors!

Google5They did everything they said they would, when they said they would. The young man I worked with in the showroom patiently helped me choose the right door. When I had a small problem right after the warranty expired they came out and fixed it without charge. No problems since then. Very happy with the product and service.

Google3Had some real issues but ultimately would recommend them. Doors turned out really nice, and these are good people, I think, in general. But the process of installation was a nightmare. The guy measured the tracks incorrectly, disabled my existing doors for literally weeks I had no working garage door and it took forever to get the tracks installed. Then they measured the actual door wrong on one side, and they had to completely build a new door from scratch, which took over a month. So for two months, I had no working garage door setup. They knocked off 500 bucks, which was pretty weak given the brain damage I had to go through to get this done. I'm only posting this as a heads up to make sure that customers press them to "measure twice, cut once." Not to indict an otherwise reasonably good company. They were mortified, vs apathetic (the apathetic companies infuriate you when they mess up--these guys actually care).

Google5When our garage door spring failed, we called Northgate which we have used at previoushouses. They did a temporary repair since we wanted to replace the squeaky mildewed door with one with windows. Greg came out and measured, discussed options. We visited their showroom and selected our new door. It is prepainted with battery back up and a keypad opener which we find very handy, and lots of window light. The door was just installed by Jimmy and Dale. Works perfectly and we're very happy
