Yelp5I called five garage door repair companies, each having between 150 and 850 reviews and each with a 5 Star rating. Of those five, two were able to come out the same day and repair a broken torsion spring on a two car garage door and quoted a reasonable cost over the phone. Of those two, Ronnie was able to come out within the hour. 10 minutes after I hung up the phone, Ronnie arrived at my home. In less that 45 minutes, he had replaced the torsion spring, recalibrated the opener and confirmed that the garage door, opener and hardware were in satisfactory condition. I was very impressed with Ronnie's promptness, knowledge and work ethic. I would recommend giving him a call for a quote if you're ever in need of garage door repairs.

Aside from all the great reviews , because he does not charge to inspect and provide estimate, was eventually why we called him, and hired him to do the repairs. He had the equipment and parts with him so work was done the same day, which was really convenient. He informed us of the options we had and did not try to oversell, and we appreciated that. Their quote was competitive, and they were able to come by within a couple hours. When Ronnie came, he also did an inspection on other parts of the garage. His quote was the best I received so I was grateful to be able to have my garage door springs replaced right then and not have to schedule another visit. He did a great job of explaining which components were still in good shape and didn't need replacement, and what to look for to know when they are near end of life.

Yelp5Before deciding to work with Ronnie's Garage Doors, I also received responses from True Blue, Safety, Palms, KJs, and L.G. Garage Door service companies. I was struck by how many companies had perfect or nearly perfect ratings on Yelp. Each of these companies were also responsive and had good availability, leaving me pleased with my options. Ronnie's Garage Doors won my business over the others because they had availability today, gave an estimate based on photos rather than an in-person estimate, they could provide the garage door opener on the spot, and ultimately our conversation left me with a good feeling about the company. The estimate was neither the highest nor the lowest but looked to be appropriate based on Home Depot's price for the opener alone. The installation was more difficult than most. Unfortunately, that's par for the course for my home. Ronnie took the situation in stride and found a way to install the new opener despite the unusual circumstances. He was responsive, communicative, honest, punctual, and accurate in his work. I got my garage door opener/motor replaced the same day I reached out, and the price was better than I had originally expected. Ronnie's Garage Doors has earned their 5-star ratings. I recommend them.

Yelp5After almost 3 years after Ronnie replaced the springs, one of them went out, but Ronnie was available the very next day and replaced both springs in about 30 minutes and at no charge, because the springs were still under warranty! Thanks Ronnie!!
