Google5My system went out of service and my door and remote were not workin. Thankfully David from Bay Area Garage Door Repair was very helpful and professional. He was very polite and respectful, as well as helpful. He was able to get our system working in minutes. I will definitely recommend this company and will be working with them in the future for all of our garage door needs.

Yelp5Sagiv came out to fix my garage door several months ago. He was very friendly and quickly fixed the door. Hopefully, I dont have future issues with my garage door...but if I do, then I will definitely use SF Garage Doors again.

Yelp1I would gave -5 stars if possible. Most importantly, don't trust all the 5 star reviews. Because Sagiv gave you 10% off if you leave a 5 star review. I did gave a 5 start review before because of the discount, and Sagiv used to be very good in repairing garage doors, and very easy to work with. However, he recently hired a new employee. The new guy is very rude, not professional at all. Sagiv fixed one of our garage 6 months ago, putting 2 brand new cables, and 4 big screws, only asked for $300. This new guy, asked $429 for only one cable, nothing else. We talked with Sagiv, he agreed to charge us for only $300 as before. Then this guy gave us a used cable for us. After he changed it, we still feel something is stuck there. He just refused to do anything else, and shouted to us, very rude! He talked with Sagiv on phone in other language we don't understand, then Savig said let this guy try again, and pay him, if still not working, just call him back, and Savig himself will come back to fix it. This guy then put on 4 new screws in. But the door still not smooth. He became very very impatient, kept saying we delayed his other jobs, and asking for the check. We gave him the check. Then we started to contact Savig, he became very angry, saying: "I am very busy, I don't have time to talk. Do you speak English? Do you understand English? I don't want to talk!!!" Worst, worst experience ever! I read other reviews here, and found this happened before for other customers. If he promises he will be back when something goes wrong, he will never honor that and just hangup your call. Final note, don't be fooled by all the good reviews, they were for the discount. They are very very dishonest. And it you still want to choose SF Garage Door (or Garage Doors Services), make sure you get Sagiv work for you, at least he knows how to fix the door, not the new tall young guy.

Yelp4Had Sagiv back a second time. A couple if things you should know. Even though the card says 24/7 don't expect a call back on a Saturday. When he does call back, he is quick to get to you. He's messy. Lots of saw dust and loose sheet metal screws on my garage floor. Also finger prints. If you've had him work, you know what I'm talking about. Had to borrow some of my tools which was odd. Don't have the kiddies around while he's on site unless you want them to learn to talk like a truck driver. I'll say this much. He gets it done. Your busted door will work when he's done. He's really good at kit bashing equipment together or fitting it into tight spots. He works the upsell a bit but not too much. I gave him 5* last time because he gave me a deal but the messiness makes him more of a 4*. Solid work and skill set but you'll be out after him cleaning up. I trust him too.

Yelp5I called last night. Mr. Levi called me first thing in the morning. I told him what was happening and he scheduled to come out the next day. He arrived right on time and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem immediately, told me it would cost $95 and that if it didn't work he wouldn't charge me. He fixed my door quickly! Mr. Levi was so nice and didn't overcharge! I HIGHLY recommend his services!!!

Had started our Daylight Savings morning by a horrible bang from the garage ....springs gone and door would only open about 6 inches . Did what I always do....prayed and shopped around by phone. Yelp4I actually contacted a local service, S&T Garage Door in Millbrae, initially, but got a call back from Sagiv. I had assumed that he was one of their contractors, but it looks like he owns a different (this) business. Not sure what their relationship is. I don't know if I caught Sagiv on a bad day or what, but my experience with him doesn't reflect all the 5-star reviews here. Let's get a couple of things out of the way - he is a fast worker, his prices are reasonable, and his work is good, I'll give him those. Came about an hour late, but at least he called to notify of the delay. I understand that Bay traffic can be unpredictable. As for the less awesome things: - Spent the whole time here swearing, which made it sound like something was constantly wrong and/or that he was begrudgingly doing the job. I asked him what's up with that, and he rebuffed me with, "is working fast a bad attitude?" He later lectured me about how studies have shown that swearing is good for health. Dude, I swear too, but I don't do it indiscriminately. - Stapled his business card on the drywall above my door opener without my permission while I was writing the cheque, so I couldn't stop him in time. I know I can remove it and the damage is minimal, but it's still damage. I'll recommend him for the quality, speed, and price of his work. Just numb yourself to his disposition and ask him to hand you his card.

Yelp5Very prompt, helpful service, both via phone and in person. Mr. Levi took about twenty minutes on the phone to help me troubleshoot the problem before making an appointment. My garage door and opener needed more than I could troubleshoot, so we made the apointment. He arrived on time, repaired faulty wiring, and replaced two springs, properly re-aligning the door. My door functions super smoothly and quietly. Excellent work!

Yelp5The tension spring on our garage door popped in the middle of the day and freaked everyone out. I saw the great yelp reviews and gave Sagiv a call. Sagiv arrived early within the time frame provided. He had all the tools and parts necessary to fix the garage door. He was in and out in less than 30 mins. Garage now works great!
