Google5This is the first time I needed an opener replaced and Complete Garage Door was out the next day and done within an hour. All my openers, PIN pads, work great and now I can use the HomeLink in my truck. Excellent and speedy service.

Angi1On Sunday 9/8/13 my garage door came crashing down after a Torsion spring (large springs over garage door) snapped just missing my wife, I sent an email to this Company Sunday night, who had replaced both springs 2/ 1/2 years earlier hoping they would see it first thing Monday since there is a 3 year parts and labor warranty. Seeing no response to the email that day (even till this point) I then called and spoke to Joe Monday who was the same guy that came out back in 2011. Joe complained he was very busy being a Monday so I said ok no problem come out Tuesday. Joe agreed to call me on Tuesday in the morning we agreed he would replace both springs at that time. I received no call. At approximately 2pm that day I called him back to ask where he was, Joe could not come out until late and since we were not going to be home that evening it was rescheduled for Thursday morning 9/12/13. At 1020am on Thursday I called and left a message (apparently a one man show) I received no call back, so at approximately 1220 I called again, Joe decided to answer then. I asked where he was and he stated I thought it was Friday? (how convenient) Apparently he was not coming. I insisted he come out today 9/12/13 as agreed. Joe stated he was in Tampa and tried to get out of coming. He finally agreed to show up at around 5pm. At 220pm the same day 9/12/13 he called and said he was on his way..... I now had to return home to meet him. Joe finally showed up at approximately 315, he was lost and called me for directions. Joe immediately went to work, never saying even hello to me you could see he was clearly annoyed. Why he was the one annoyed I don't get. I watched as he replaced the left spring throwing it on the floor. I asked him what about the right one. Joe replied I can do it its up to you but it will cost you $125 additional (175 paid initially, springs cost 20-35$). We got into an argument and Joe threatened to walk off the job. (which I told him then go) Joe made statements that I was calling him a liar that he did not recall our conversation, he further stated he was from NY and up there they don't act like this. (why NY was brought into it floored me) we exchanged nasty comments (Joe uses profanity just in normal conversations) I just wanted this jerk out of the house. He left angrily never checking the door. (which didn't close right and I had to fix myself) I had to tighten several bolts that were left loose, whether on purpose or not I can't say but I could get a wrench on the bolts and made several turns......Joe was about as bad as they come as a business man. He's clearly everything that's wrong with these kind of of small business's and exactly why Angies List exists. (I only recently joined) His product lasted just over 2 years where the original builders "junk" lasted over 10. He is exactly what home owners speak about when getting coned. So now according to him I have a 3 year warranty on the left spring and 6 months on the old... Absolutely ridicules, Does this make sense. (he will never set foot on my property again anyhow as he was warned). It's like replacing one car tire and not the other and expecting an even ride??? Soon since these are cheap galvanized springs he peddles the right will surely break, I now have to be very leery at least until sears a reputable company comes out to replace them the right way. Angi1On 08/04/2011, a guy named joe came to our home from Complete Garage Doors Inc. and adjusted the springs and repaired a Genie Traveler on our garage door. All seemed fine until on 09/30/2011 our garage door came crashing down on our car. We found out from inspections we had done by General Contractors that they did not tighten the spring screws on the left side properly and the spring lost tension. This was described as the direct cause of the garage door falling by every professional that we had come out. I then called Complete Garage Doors Inc. and was laughed at and cussed out for "wasting their time with bs". They refused to give any insurance information and was told it was none of my business. After two days of fighting with them, I was able to obtain their information from the Pasco County office. I am currently in an insurance battle with them and they still will not take responsibility for their poor work or show any professionalism. My garage has been distroyed for a week.
