Google5I called Day & Night Garage Doors at 8PM as my garage door bracket had snapped and I couldn't lift my garage door. Melvin Ramos, owner, answered my call. I told him I had to work tomorrow morning and I needed my garage door serviced tonight. He was very personable over the phone as he listened. He advised me to send pictures of the garage door so he could have an idea of why I was calling. He did advise me I could wait until tomorrow to get a free estimate or he could come out tonight and it would be considered an emergency. As I am remodeling the house and needing to be at work tomorrow, I told him this was an emergency for me and within the hour, he was servicing my garage door. He was professional in his image and demeanor. He came prepared to evaluate and diagnose the problem. With over 18 years of experience, it was quite evident Melvin knew what he was doing and quickly resolved and repaired our garage door. He went above and beyond to not just take care of the root problem for why I called but also noticed other areas in and around the garage door that needed to be addressed and went ahead and took care care of those too. He provided feedback and education regarding his work and maintenance of the garage door. I would highly recommend Melvin's company and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again either for quarterly maintenance or any other sudden problem my garage door may have. Thank you Melvin! We had been quoted outrageous prices by other companies, and Melvin was very thorough in his assessment and provided us with a very reasonable option. He also made sure to do the assessment and fix the issue on the same day, which was wonderful. I would recommend them 100%!

Google5I don't usually write reviews. But in this case I decided to dedicate some time for others' benefit. This repair took place on 1/9/19. This was the second repairman I called (the first one did not seem straight. Well not him but the corporation he worked for). Anyhow, what a difference! I called Melvin, he was busy on another job, but two hours later he was in my house fixing my garage door. Unbelievable, both springs replaced for $225. Yes you read that right! The previous company I called wanted more than double when they came, even though they quoted me less than that over the phone. Often times it is not simply a matter of "price" but rather of "principle". If you quote me an amount don't surprise me with a different number when you arrive. Anyhow, back to Melvin, a really knowledgeable guy with a courteous and calm demeanor. He guarantees his work for two years and told me that the springs should last for several more. Therefore, I won't be seeing him back anytime soon. Perhaps that's why I am recommending him with my eyes closed.

Google5Great service. They went the extra mile to make it perfect, he had to spend some extra time becuse how my floor was build and he didn't charge anything extra from the original quote. I compared prices with other two company and they had the best price. I will recommend them. Technician was Melvin. Really professional technician.
