Google1If I could give negative stars, I would do a minus gazillion. I hired him to replace the breaker boxes in the house I bought, fix some open & sparking outlets. He was given the inspection report to bid off of, so he cannot say he did not know what he was getting into. He did not label any wires before removing the breaker box and when he put the new one in, he did not test wires in order to put rooms on the same breaker, nor did he label anything (which is something we had agreed upon). I ended up having to hire a different electrician to fix sparking outlets and light switches. His employee told me that all light switches spark when you flip the switch. Also, when his employee was to put in the ground rod, they did not call to have utilities marked. The ground rod missed the gas line by 2 inches +/- (I took pictures). He would not come out unless I paid a $500 fee. My neighbors took pity on me and helped dig up the area after I had it marked. Since the ground rod also hit the electric line going into my basement and every time it rained, my basement flooded. Took pictures of that area also to show it was their fault, but he quit responding except canned replies about how great they are and haven't had any issues. There was a double light switch in the kitchen that was not working, they didn't find the issue. My son, who is not an electrician, found that the conduit and the metal box for the light switches had a live wire laying across it up in the attic. Now, I have to ask myself, how does an electrician of his "esteemed" caliber not know how to diagnose with his multi-meter that there is still current in a metal box? How on God's green Earth did he not get shocked when he put the new light switch in? Might have knocked some sense in him. When replacing the breaker box in the garage, he had his pre-teen son doing the work. I was assured that he (Joshua) does check all work. Riiiiiiight, I guess that is why Joshua knew that none of the breakers had been labeled and that the washer machine was hooked up to 2 different breakers?? Thank goodness we met a retired commercial electrician who took pity on me and this house of horrors. We ended up having to remove all of the wiring and conduit and start from scratch. I took before (Joshua's work) and after (a real electrician's work) pictures of the breaker box for posterity. It does not give me pleasure to report badly online but after what I have experience, I don't want anybody else to have to go through what I went through.
