We were fortunate to have found Gilbertson Door Systems to repair our damaged garage door - on the same day that the damage occurred. Shannon set up the appointment and Jeff arrived on time in the scheduled three-hour window. He explained his approach to repairing the damage and within less than three quarters of an hour he has finished the job. This included maintenance and adjustments for improved operation of the garage door. My wife on returning later in the day commented on how smoother and quieter the movement of the door was now. This was an excellent experience with Gilbertson Door Systems.

Excellent service. They been accommodating for projects big and small. Easy to work with and Shannon has been excellent as well. We have had them troubleshoot some issues with older equipment and install new equipment for company growth. Never been over sold or over promised especially with delivery times of products needed. Cannot express how pleased we are with the service and pricing.

This is the second time I had them come out. The first time was a few years ago. They fixed my garage door opener and didn't charge me because it only took a few minutes. This time they were out and fixed the door on the same day. Always provides great service and quick and best of all honest.

I had one of the springs on the torsion bar break on the garage door. I think the replacement took maybe 30 minutes and it was back to normal. Went well and satisfied with the results.

Decided it was time to replace a Genie opener that sometimes did not like to perform during our cold MN winters; it finally died right after the holidays. Chose Gilbertson Door Systems due to pricing as I did not want to pay $500 for a quality opener. There are living quarters above the garage so a quiet unit was needed. I was nervous that there are not many reviews of this company on Angie's List or anywhere else for that matter. Took the risk anyway and have no regrets. Jeff was professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. As arranged, he called me when he was almost finished and I met him at the house to pay for his services. My tenants report that the new Liftmaster opener is many times quieter than the old unit. I will be calling Jeff in the future to fix garage door issues in my home and rental properties. Great communication. Spoke with them over the phone. Discussed my needs and the type of garage door I wanted. They made suggestions, and ordered my door. Kept me informed of arrival date, and set up the installation well in advance. They installed it while I was at work. I came home to a clean driveway, the new door was installed, and the old one gone. A very good quality insulated garage door, at a good price. Highly recommend!

Initially the company was very responsive. I submitted an online request for an estimate and followed up with a voice mail several days later. I received a return call and eventually was able to speak with Shannon on 8/18 who provided an over the phone quote based on our needs. I called after hours on 8/20 to leave a voice mail confirming the quote, the 10% coupon offered with Angie's list and to request an installation for the week of 8/23 - 8/27. Since I had called after hours I allowed a few days for the reply. On 8/25 I called and left another voice mail asking for a call back. Still no reply. This is the second business we have attempted to use with Angie's list that have failed to reply to us. Very disappointing. Services Rendered: No services provided

I called several choices from Angie's List search that all had "A" ratings. Gilbertson's price beat the others by 60 to 120 dollars. They had plenty of current favorable reviews. I called and setup an appointment for the next morning. The work was perfect and clean. I called that afternoon after accidentally deleting the codes from my older, other door opener they hadn't installed and they were able to talk me through reprogramming the remotes right away! Services Rendered: Garage door opener installed with 2 remotes and a keyless entry pad. Garage door tuneup.
