While the service call was fast...I didnt care for how I was informed of the cost. The tech was there for maybe 40 mins. After he fixed the problem (which I had told him before had what it was) He told me it would be $400 and he took cash or check. He then asked if I had prepaid. I told him I was never told anything about the amount. He told me there was a crazy $130 service fee/diagnosis (lame as I knew exactly what the problem was) and then the rest was the parts etc. He was like well, they should have pre-charged you over the phone so... I told him I didnt have the cash on hand and didnt feel comfortable giving him my credit card info. He called the office and they told him I could come in and pay. I went in to pay and made the comment to the front desk lady about my experience and she shrugged her shoulders and was like well, he should have told you what it would cost, so I dont know what happened there. Sounds like this is a common thing here... I dont know if I would come back to them again.... felt it was pretty unprofessional all around. (Also didnt care that the tech came carrying a hug monster and blasted some political podcast while working, at least put in some air pods or be courteous of your customers!

Ordered a garage door, no contact regarding a pre-inspection. 1 week passed, received a call asking If I wanted an inspection? I then sent in building spec and prints on door opening. Sales rep tells me 3-5 weeks wait time from manufacture. Long story short I did not receive the door until 7 weeks/2 days LATER. I asked to be compensated for the LONG wait time, NOPE was charged FULL PRICE. I'll defiantly call a few more place before I EVER do buisness with Garage Doors Only!!!! BEWARE OF EXTREME WAIT TIME...

I need to change my review that I posted last week. They stand behind their work once the confusion was resolved . They immediately repaired the door and implemented procedural changes to improve practice. I am very satisfied and would recommend them for installation or repairs.

Second time I've used these guys, and same great experience. This time I had a very unusual problem. The lower inside edge of one door panel got caught under the edge of the adjacent door panel, and bent it badly. It made a horrendous noise when closing, and it sounded like something was about to break. I visited another much fancier also highly rated shop to ask if they could do any repairs. They said they'd be happy to come out, but it was very likely the entire door would have to be replaced. Looking at the doors in their showroom, I am sure that could be a $2,500-$4,000 job to replace both our double and single car doors, plus painting. I visited Garage Doors Only modest little shop, and had a great conversation with the techs (go between 4:00-5:00 when they are back in the shop). They were pretty confident they could fix it. Matt came out to the house, and after wrestling with it for about 30 minutes, he did some amazing sheet metal work that saved the door. Can't thank him enough! And all for the basic service charge! Great job again, Garage Doors Only! (BTW - The adjacent hinge on the door was bent and cracked, and may have originally caused the problem. It was replaced in the repair and included in the service charge.)

Sabrina was the first I spoke with when I called. She was very kind and informative. Matt was able to come to check out my garage door the same day I called. He didn't have the parts I needed for the repair but scheduled to come back the next day. He worked quickly to replace my broken spring with a new and better one and also took the time to inspect and maintain the whole system. Highly recommend Garage Doors Only!

After a minor mishap with my garage door I called the next day. They were able to fit me in that same day. Josh came out, assessed the problem and then jumped right in. I am not sure what I was expecting, but I wasn't expecting him to finish as quickly as he did. He put everything back together and took some extra time to lubricate all of the rollers. I hope I don't need to call again, but if I ever need garage door work done I won't call anyone else. Thanks to everyone there.

Springs blew up this morning on my garage door. New to area so checked yelp. Called and they said they were booked for the day but would call me back. They called back and were able to get to me today. Rick showed up and explained would have to convert to exterior springs. Rick did a great job. Thanks for a great job.

Thanks, Colin! Garage Doors Only is the best! I thought my garage door was toast. The bottom of the door was dented, the brackets and track were bent and the whole door was hanging a bit sideways after a car backed into it. I was bracing for $1,000+ for a new door and installation. Instead, Garage Doors Only was able to fix the damage without the need for any new parts in about 30 minutes. Total cost: $65. Honest, prompt, and really, really good at what they do. Services Rendered: Repaired damaged garage door. Fixed bent brackets and track. Realigned the door so it functions. Same day service.
