We hired Atlas Restoration after a tornado because of their positive reviews and initially felt reassured. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Atlas originally wanted to handle the full restoration job, but later backed out because the insurance company was taking too long to approve the claim. As a result, they only completed the mitigation, tear-out, and pack-out portions of the work. This was already an extremely traumatic situation, and the sudden change added more stress and uncertainty. During the tear-out process, Atlas damaged our toilet and bathtub, and they have refused to repair or replace either. There was also minor damage to several walls and to a few pieces of furniture that were returned after pack-out. None of these issues were addressed or corrected. In addition, gable siding that was stored in our garage was never returned. Atlas claims they never saw it and suggests another contractor is responsible. However, we have photos showing the siding was present after the tornado, and Atlas was the company that performed the pack-out. No other contractors were working at the property for months afterward while we waited on insurance approval. Overall, we were left with damaged fixtures, missing materials, and no accountability. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Atlas Restoration, especially during a time when homeowners are already dealing with trauma and loss.

Honesty, integrity, and compassion for what people are going through as they find themselves on the restoration journey. I want to thank Annie for sharing her knowledge - making suggestions - providing candor, and caring about each and every person and our “stuff” in our 6 unit building. If google would let me rate Annie and Atlas a 10 - I’d give them an 11. Thank you Annie and Atlas for helping us get back home!

If I could give more stars, I would do that. In January 2025, we experienced "ice damming" in our condo. Ice clogged the gutter and water poured into our bedroom and adjacent sun-room. Our condo management company recommended Atlas Restoration on a Monday after it happened. We called them and that day, Brandon came to look and checked the dampness of the walls, ceiling and floor. He told us, he could have fans and and workers, who could pull out the wet material starting the next day. Brandon couldn't have been nicer or more knowledgeable. In the quickest framework that we have ever had any project done to our house, a crew came in, tore out all of the wet material, put up fans and plastic sheeting, so that we could still sleep in our bedroom. Brandon came back and introduced us to Marvin, who would be our Project Manager. Marvin was also very nice and reassured us that the rebuild process could begin with no delays. Marvin brought in every expert we needed - from drywall and painter to a floor guy to Annie, the Contents Manager at Atlas. The project wasn't a quick fix but there was never a delay. I heartily recommend Atlas Restoration Specialists, because everyone we met treated us and our belongings with respect and knowledge of what needed to be done.

Atlas is doing the rebuild of mine and my dad's house after a total loss fire. I couldn't ask for a better company. From doing the inventory, getting all the permits, working with our insurance they've helped ease the burden. Marvin is a great guy with the knowledge to go with him. While I obviously don't recommend a house fire, they do your basic remodels as well. Truly a great company to work with. Professional, caring, understanding, knowledgeable and just a great company.

If I could give this a zero star I would. Had a brand new house essentially from framing by them. Our shower doors don’t stay closed because they are so un-level. We have drywall cracking everywhere. In our hall bathroom, the shower door can’t even be opened because the brackets holding the glass are colliding. The quality of work by the company is sub par. I wouldn’t recommend them unless you plan on sticking thousands out of your own pocket into the work they just “completed.” They also never came back and installed our gable vents so we have plywood instead. We also woke up this morning to a live wire on fire on the back side of our house because they tied a wire into our bedroom receptacle and ran the other end outside into the dirt. Our whole house could’ve caught fire and killed our family.

when my house burned to the ground i was devastated. 1800 board up was called i met jeff he did a excellent job securing my house. as i was talking to jeff the night of the fire he recoomended Atlas Restoration to me. I met Marvin Dimole who i hired to rebuild my house he is very professional and nice .I met wth anne Kretzel who did the inventory on my house she did a excellent job and was very compassionate about her job. I was at my house and watched a burned out wreck turn into a very beautiful house. my garage was completely burned down Marvin Eric Anne and all the workers who were at my house were awesome they took a completely burned down house and turned it into the best looking house on my block. Everyone who sees my house say it looks gorgeous. If you need any work done I highly reccommend Atlas Restorations .

A fire that starts in the middle of the night is, in itself, devastating. Fortunately no one was injured, but the structure was a loss. 1-800-BoardUp was recommended by the fire department. As soon as the fire department gave their approval, everything was boarded up and secured. They recommended Annie Kretzler and Marvin Dimole for the restoration. We are so glad we followed that recommendation, as they both were nothing less than excellent. Thank you!!

What would I have done without Board Up and Annie Kretzler? Jeff from Board up was there in about 40 minutes. The Firefighters suggested I call someone to board up my house but I didn’t know who to call. One of their suggestions was Board up. He suggested I call Annie Kretzler with Altas Restoration and I did. She came out same day and gave me an idea of what to expect. I had no idea. We had never had any problems at our home. She gave me an idea of what to expect and she was correct about the insurance response. She sent Gail and her hard working crew out to begin the clean up and restoration. I am so grateful. We will be in our restored home so much sooner with her help and Marvin Damole. I appreciate and highly recommend your company.
