Google1They don't stock drywall shims and treated me like I must be an alien for asking. 2 different employees, including an apparent manager said they'd never heard of them. "If I can't sell at least 4 a month, I won't stock them". I think I'll start driving a little bit farther to Lowe's.

Google5Had a crazy "mystical" experience a couple months ago at this HD and wanted to share it. I was looking for a specific part - it was an extension piece for an electrical box. The app said it was at the store but didn't indicate a specific aisle which made me nervous that it wasn't there. so I drove there. I looked around and couldn't find it. I got one employee to help me look - we looked everywhere and he said it must've been discontinued. After about 20 minutes of looking everywhere again, I was about to give up when another friendly employee came up. He asked if I need help looking for something and I gave him the rundown and indicated it must've just not been there. I was feeling defeated and nervous because I didn't want to keep the electrical box open as I was going out of town the next day. Sidebar info relevant to story: that week I had been reading a biography about Frances Cabrini (story will get weird - but I promised I'd put all the info on this). As a kid I had something happen that made me think she was my guardian angel. I was talking about that a couple months ago and a person mentioned her new movie - I watched and was reading her bio. Here's how it's relevant to this story: one of the things she did often was - one of her "sisters" would tell her they were out of money, food, etc. and that they'd looked everywhere and couldn't find it, and then she'd tell them to look again and miraculously something would appear. I had that on my mind at this Home Depot lol. Back to the friendly employee - it felt unusual about how helpful he was being, as I had tried to convince that the part wasn't there. He looks it up, looks around, and on a nearby shelf, pulls down a box and miraculously, the part was there! (I’m not like a weird superstitious person, but this was just crazy to me). I was immediately thinking that it must’ve been Frances Cabrini who sent him, something I never really “think” about. So, I told him that God must have sent him. I asked him his name because I was going to write a review and he said “Frank.” This does seem kind of overblown maybe - but it’s hard to emphasize the extent of searching I had done for this part, why it was important to get it that night, etc. so just assume it was a big deal. I was so blown by the incident that I came home and told my wife about it and mentioned the guy’s name was Frank. She said, “isn’t that short for Francis?” I hadn’t put that together and basically lost it... I’m halfway expecting there to not be a guy named “Frank” that works at this Home Depot (the kingshighway one) - but in case there is, I wanted to share this story. Thanks Frank and Home Depot!

Google1This by far is the absolute worse home depot in the city. The customer service department is ran horribly. Its always over packed and under staffed. Its not the workers fault. The managers are not putting coverage at this store. Tons of people walk away and leave before they get taken care of b

Google4⭐⭐⭐☆☆ The Home Depot – Tower Grove South: Shopping or Post-Apocalyptic Film Set? Walking into this Home Depot sometimes feels like stepping onto the set of a post-apocalyptic movie—half-stocked shelves, stray carts, and employees wandering around like they’ve seen too much. Honestly, I’m not sure if they’ve given up or if someone in Hollywood is secretly filming Mad Max: Hardware Edition inside. That said, if you’re willing to dig, you can usually find what you need—though it might take longer than expected. The staff are a mixed bag: some are arguing with each other, others glued to their phones… but when you catch one who’s actually on the floor and engaged, they’re genuinely willing to help and often go out of their way to assist you. The store itself could use some love—organization isn’t its strong suit—but it does carry the essentials, and when they get it right, it works. Just… manage your expectations. Bottom line: you’ll get your tools, your paint, your plants—but not without a side of chaos. And maybe, just maybe, a cameo in the next dystopian thriller.

Google4Came here to get some license plate bolts which was a success. The store is very clean and organized. I even had a gentleman help me out. Which, is rare at this store. I wound recommend shopping here for sure.

Google2I am someone that uses the Home Depot app to make most of my purchases. Generally by doing this it saves me time and keeps my receipts organized. However I have ordered items from the Kingshighway location multiple times and then waited days for them to prepare the order... Ultimately then needing to cancel it and buy it again through a different Home Depot such as the South County or Crestwood locations. The other stores in St Louis (Sunset Hills, Manchester, South County, Chesterfield) are virtually seamless in the transactions that I place using the Home Depot app. The Home Depot app itself has issues quite often... That is a little bit annoying but usually it works well enough, it's just clunky and slow especially during checkout. So the app itself does not typically impede me from getting what I need. The only thing that impedes me from getting what I need is ordering it from the Kingshighway Home Depot location... It's not even worth trying. If you need something from this location you have to just go there and walk in the store and find it. This just takes more time than I have available so I truly appreciate the good service I get at the other Home Depot locations mentioned above.

Google5I mean. It’s Home Depot. Can’t go wrong anytime if you need something, they usually have it. Unless you need a snow shovel as you’re getting a snowstorm then they’re going to run out of course. But that’s only our own human fault. Always a lovely arrangement of plants though. Also nice inventory of flooring and tiles. Again, it’s Home Depot and this one is pretty good off of Kingshighway. Lovely peeps. I love seeing what kind of flowers they have as well.

Google4Pet friendly store, with "some" cheerful and helpful staff. They were in love with our dog. Their aisles are well numbered and prior to your visit you can go on to their website to check which aisle to find what you're looking for. That way you dont have to do the awkward search when you're pressed for time. Can we say CONVENIENCE! They also carry many brands which gives the shopper more choices.
