Angi4When I called , he asked me several questions to diagnose the problem and thought that I either needed new springs or a new motor and gave me an estimate for how much it would cost. The provider was able to come to my home a few hours after I called him. He was very quick and had my opener working in less than 15 minutes. He told me that I did not need to replace the springs at this time. Services Rendered: I have a metal garage door that is supposed to swing open. My garage door opener was not operating properly so I couldn't open it. He diagnosed the problem, adjusted the mechanisms.

Angi5One of the very old springs on the garage door broke. I went shopping through Angie's list for a repair service. The representative from Same Day Repair did a thorough job of defining the issue and gave me two quotes based on what might be necessary to complete the repair-either just springs or the complete works. Lamont arrived on time, diagnosed the issue as "just springs," also took the time for a "primer," how the door works and what is recommended to keep it operating smoothly. He completed the job and asked if I had any other questions before he left-it was a 15 minute process. The door has been operating efficiently since. I was so relieved and felt I received good service at a reasonable price. This is what a transaction should be. Services Rendered: Excellent service-prompt-efficient-cordial. I was expecting to need a higher level of repair and it turned out much less was needed. Since I knew nothing about garage doors, I could have been oversold, Superior experience, but Lamont from Same Day did not do that. In fact, he quickly assessed that only new springs were needed and said the manufacturer of the 60+ year old hardware made great products and is still in business.

Angi5SAME DAY DOOR ANSWERED MY CALL AND PROVIDED SERVICE VERY PROMPTLY WHEN I COULD NOT GET ANOTHER GARAGE COMPANY. IT WAS AN EMERGENCY AS I COLD NOT CLOSE THE GARAGE AND THEY RESPONDED. Services Rendered: INSTALLED NEW GARAGE DOOR SINCE THE GARAGE DOOR THAT NEEDED REPLACEMENT WAS OLD AND HAD NO SPARE PARTS TO FIX IT.
