BBB2It happened on a Saturday when I discovered that my garage door wouldn't open. I tried both the opener on the wall and the handheld device and neither of them would work. I called their office and was advised that an after normal business hours service call is $326. If I could wait until a weekday, it would be about half that amount. I explained that my wife had early morning hospital appointment and we couldn't wait until the weekdays. He was; however, nice enough to ask to try something first to see if that would remedy the problem. It didn't. When he arrived, he walked over to the lower right hand corner of the door, jiggled some device for about three seconds and asked me to try to open the door again. It worked perfectly. In retrospect, if he had only told me to try the same thing while on the phone, I could have saved him a trip and me writing a check for $326. I assure you; that with the proper guidance, I can follow instructions. One final note; that expensive repair is only covered for thirty (30) days. After that, we are responsible for another service call fee. Buyer beware.

Google5We absolutely LOVED our experience with Birdsong Garage Doors. Our salesman/technician Derek was so professional. His knowledge about everything we needed was superb. Never once pressured us in to anything. In fact, he came out a couple years back to repair our garage door after our 16 year old son backed into it... thought it was done... NOPE, miraculously Derek was able to fix it and gave us a few more years of use. The new door we just purchased this past summer is so beautiful. There is no other garage door company we would call. Birdsong...specifically Derek is the best!

Google5I own an automotive repair shop in Fenton. Our shop bay doors get heavy use. Birdsong was able to quickly come out, addressed our issues in a short amount of time and the doors have been trouble free for almost 2 years. For 22 year old doors this unheard of. Derek is a pleasure to deal with and one of the most capable in the industry.

Called got the service manager and he said he would get an answer for sure and call me back. 2 weeks later no call so I called and asked if they were interested in my business and "oh yes the owner is here and he'll call you back" One month later I am now getting ready to not repair my garage door but replacing both doors but they are not on my list of bidders. So much for customer service.
