Google5I called Overhead Door Co when a cable broke on my garage door, rendering it unusable. Every part of the process was seamless, transparent and reminds me of how commerce used to be. I was able to schedule an appt quickly (this really feels like a rarity these days...). They were friendly & communicative at the office end (called to make sure I was back in town following winter travels) and I can't say enough positive things about Geoffrey, who came to repair the door. As a woman, interacting with service humans (almost always men) can be a less than inspiring process. However, Geoffrey was lovely. He spoke *to* me, not at me or above me. He thoroughly explained what he was doing, collegially, not condescendingly, and I came away empowered with a deeper understanding of the mechanics of garage doors & their repairs. It was clear that he was proud of his company, and his work, which speaks volumes in todays world. He shines as an example of how one can do business these days and I would happily recommend him (and overhead door co). to anyone. Perhaps the best part of this garage door repair was realizing the other door in this garage was an Overhead Door Co. original from 1960-- what a legacy for a company.

Google5Great company! They were able to find me an appointment with 24 hrs and Josh K. arrived right on time and did a great job. He was able to replace both springs in my garage door quickly despite the side walls leaving little working space. The price was well within what was quoted.

Google5Josh came by this morning to adjust our door. Not only was he right on time but he had to travel on very snowy roads to get to us. From the moment he said hello he was very personable. He took care of the problem in less than 30 minutes. We appreciated his professionalism, friendly approach and expertise in solving our problem so quickly and efficiently. If we ever have an issue in the future we will ask for Josh to help us. Thank you Josh!

Google5Josh and JR were incredible! They came on time, they were very pleasant and extremely efficient. I was told it would take about 5 hours and I intended to make them lunch. They were sooo fast that I ended up having to pack up their lunch as they were eager to get to their next job.The door looks great and is super quiet. Greg noticed that there was a bit of overhead room and they were able to put in a 15” curve instead of a 12” making it a smoother run. I would be more than happy to recommend Overhead Door Co. BBB5I needed to have a new motor on my garage door. The one we were replacing was many years old. Geoff M and Jr put a new one a few weeks ago. They did a wonderful job, definitely a 5 star job. BBB1I think that this company are lairs and money-grubbing crocks mI closed my garage door and I head a snap I turned around and I saw that a cable had broken. I never thought to look at the spring. I called up overhead doors and I was told that I would have to wait a week before anyone could get to me. I was also told that the first trip would be 115.00 and that included the first hour. I said to put me down and I would still see if I could find someone that would come sooner I would give them a call. Well, the next day I got a call from a guy from there and wanted to know if I would be home I said yes. He came and said that my spring was broken I look and it was. So anyway He said that if I had said it was a spring he would have had to come out to measure it to see what it took. he fix it to work if need be and said that he would have to order one and it would take two to three days and try not to use it if I didn't have to. The guy was her 15 min at the most. The next day I get a call from a young lady and she asked me if I would be home because she wanted to send two guys out to finish the job. I said now you are going to charge me for another guy and she told me no I what about the second trip out she told me no because the guy wasn't here that long. So the guys were fixed the door and left I thought that They would give me a bill. They didn't so I called up and the young lady told me what the bill was I almost dropped dead. I was waiting for the bill and waiting and in the meantime, I got a hold of a couple of overhead guys and told them what I needed and they said that it would cost me around 260.00 plus tax. These people said that the spring was 185 dollars and I asked the girl why it was so high she told me that the prices went up That is funny because the other door company said that the springs were 135.00. I had an hour of the time the guys used 45 min. of it at the most. Nobody said anything about travel time. the other companies never said anything about it. that is why they charge you 115.00. that is the travel time. So I got the bill today and they are charging me 172.00 for labor which I still had 15 min of the hour left from when they came the first time. WHich I should not be charged labor. They are not only liars they are money-grubbers they change everything so they can rip you off. If anyone is reading this please find a different overhead door company one that is and is true to their word
