Google1I wish I could give 0 stars because a thief doesn't deserve even 1. William Kasprzak said he would order 2 springs for us to repair our own garage door. He asked that I pay a deposit of $111 and then later texted at 9:30pm and asked that I pay the balance of $88 and that would "save me $20 or so" and I'd have the parts by noon the next day. Against my better judgement, I paid him. Doing business at 9:30pm is fishy. Needless to say, we never received the parts. He kept saying he was on his way and he never arrived. This went on for days. Still no parts. I asked for a refund...no text back. He told my boyfriend at one point that he doesn't make money selling parts to people, yet in a small town that's EXACTLY how you build and keep a good reputation. He told a customer that asked about our issue that the parts were on back order and he had let me know that. That was also a lie. I ended up doing business with Richard Brown from Premium Garage Door Repair who insisted on righting Bill's wrong so as not to give their small industry a bad name. He came over after hours and completed the job himself in 30 min with parts that obviously weren't on back order. Richard is who you should do business with.... Great guy! I appreciate him and his ethics so much. Edit 10/21: are you guys in a financial position to return the money you took from me? I paid you $200 and received no product or service, as stated in the review above, and would appreciate having my money back as I don't do business loans. Google1Bill had previously done work on our garage door. His work was great and pricing was on point. That was until last summer I hired him to rebuild our front electric gate. He asked for half up front ($1800) to order the motor/materials. Since I'd used him before, I didn't have a problem with this. He left and I never heard from or saw him again. I haven't gotten my money back but I plan to. He's left Texas so as soon as I get my ducks in a row, I'll see him in court. I want my money back.

Google1I've used DFW Door Express since 2015 and used to have only excellent things to say about Bill and his service. Last summer, I had him out to repair a garage door that another contractor had run into and bent. He came out and as we were discussing other repairs, he told me he could build the fence extension I was planning for the back yard. He asked for $600 up front for materials (I noticed this is the fee he has asked for up front with other customers who also were scammed). He disappeared for 2 weeks, and when I finally got him on the phone, he said he'd had a heart attack and was on his way home from the hospital. I told him to take his time, get better, and do the fence when he felt better. That was in August, 2021. Now he won't return emails or phone calls, and I've not received a refund. I requested a refund via Zelle, and it was ignored. BUYER BEWARE!

Google5My garage door fell down 1 day ago. I called 4 places all a week out. Bill said he can be here the next day. Work was fast, honest and professional. I really appreciate the fast response. And the price was more than fair. I recommend dfw door express. Thank you bill.

Google1Beware of Door Express!. I have a neighbor who called Bill to have an estimated done for a garage door and opener replacement. They agreed on a price. Bill asked for $600 hundred up front and my neighbor agreed since Bill had done work before on his home. Well Bill has been avoiding my neighbors calls except when he calls from a different number. My neighbor ask him just to return his money n has yet to do so after Bill told him he would. He last talked to him on Oct. 19th and still has not refunded the money. Be aware. Bill do the right thing and refund the money back.

Google5Great Job!! I called fairly late in the day, Bill himself answered him self and he said he could be here in a little over an hour. He showed up on time as promised. The work performed was to replace a broken spring which he replaced as a pair as it should be. The rollers were also replaced. I also pointed out a few other items, a missing screw and a loose "safety beam" bracket. He fixed these items as well as lubricating all parts that needed it. Bill took the time to explain what he was doing and why, he answered all my dumb questions at no extra charge :) and had a great choice of music. The price charged was the price originally quoted on the phone. A routine job for Bill a lifesaver for me. Larry M. - Allen Texas

Google5Bill came out in 14 degree weather to prewire my new home before foam insulation could go in. He had to take warm up breaks it was so cold that day. I could not get any other local company to show up or call me back. Bill came through and installed some exceptional 2 inch thick foam injected Hass doors with high-end Lift Master openers. He installed a 18ft 7 1/2 foot tall door and a 10ft 7 1/2 foot tall door which is not your common size. Bill's price beat everyone around and with much higher grade doors including the high-end exterior hardware. Bill went over and beyond for my install! I highly recommend DFW Door Express.

Google5Bill was awesome a very knowledgeable and gifted technician. He quoted me a fair price for the repair job and told me of a few problems I may have in the future, about a weaken brace I had. He made a part for that and fixed that also. My garage door is working like it did when it was new. He came after hours, a big plus for my schedule, at no extra charge.
