Google5Tanner did an excellent job! He was very patient and went out of his way to explain the issues and give me options. He was able to come out and fix my garage door on the same day we called. I have been very pleased with the service and the professionalism.

Google1I have changed my review. I called Red Mountain because my door was not working properly. After Carl (the tech) arrived, he spent about 60 seconds looking at the door, and told me that my door was broken and that I needed to replace it. Asked if I would leave a google review at that time. Asked for half payment up front, called to verify door in stock, and set up appointment. The night before the appointment, I happened to notice one of the roller brackets loose. I tightened the bracket and the door has worked great ever since. I then called Red mountain and told them what happened, and how their tech was more concerned with making a sale than fixing the problem. I told them I wanted a refund and was told that I would still be charged over $300 for a restock fee for the door. I said that is unacceptable because it was their tech who said I needed a door, when in fact, I did not. I was told that they would have to speak with management and call me back. Im still waiting on that call back. I ended up just filing a dispute with my credit card company for the charges. Makes me wonder how many doors have been replaced when a simple fix couldve/shouldve been used. Buyer beware!!!

Google1I had an appointment scheduled for Red Mountain Garage Doors between 8 and 1 but the dispatcher said the tech would be here about 11 am. It is now 3. They never bothered to show up or even call. I will definitely be going with someone else.

Google5Service Tech Ryan was very knowledgeable and friendly. Talk to me through the service (garage door spring conversion), what was needed, what to expect. Very professional. Would use them again in the future. Fairly priced.

Google5I had an excellent experience with the garage door service team, especially thanks to CSR Divia. From my first call, Divia was incredibly helpful, polite, and professional. She took the time to explain my options clearly, scheduled the appointment quickly, and made sure I was updated every step of the way

Google5I spoke with a lady at the office yesterday to schedule an estimate today. The last was incredibly helpful & kind -setting high expectations for the appointment. When Carl came today, he exceeded my expectations. He was polite friendly knowledge patient & thorough. He explained my options, inspected the door & hinges (pointed out cracks in 2 hinges) no pressure. I bought a door for them to replace from them because of this experience & the people. We need more people & companies like this.

Google5My garage door broke over the weekend. I called Red Mountain Garage Doors and made an appointment for repairing it this week. I asked for Carl as per a review that I read here. Carl called me when he was on his way to do the repair . He assessed the garage issue, gave 2 estimates and then proceeded to repair my door. He was knowledgeable, and very nice. The whole experience from booking the appointment to the actual repair was flawless. The company is in constant contact via texts to keep you up to date. Garage repairs in Tuscaloosa- I have found are expensive. This one cost me a little over $1500, as there was a lot of hardware needing replacement. I did get a 5 yr warranty. Which is great. I would definitely call Red Mountain again and request Carl for the repair. He is skilled and so kind and courteous. He took the time and patience to explain everything to me. When you need garage repair call Red Mountain and be sure to request Carl as your technician.

Google5Great experience dealing with the company. Called on a Friday and Carl arrived Saturday morning, right on time. Right off the bat, I trusted him and he made me feel at ease. He also knew his stuff. Repaired our door quickly after a lightning strike and charged a very reasonable fee. We will definitely use them again but be sure to ask for Carl to be your technician. He is an awesome young man.

Yelp1Please be aware before you call Red Mountain Garage Doors LLC that they do not honor their expressed one-year warranty for materials and workmanship that is printed on your bill. On 6/7/2021, I thought their technician would replace the block of wood that had split and separated from my garage wall in order to fix my garage door issue. He instead just moved the unit lower on part of the old split wooden block and the bottom screw was reattached to my wall. This was a 10-minute fix; I was billed $100.00 and assumed he knew the correct solution to the issue. Obviously, he didn't because on 2/26/2022, I saw that the unit split my wall and pulled the old block of wood from the wall. I explained this when I called on 2/26/2022, and made the appointment. When the technician called about his 2/27/2022, arrival time, I repeated the problem. He had to call the office when I questioned the repair cost because of the one-year warranty. There were no materials on 6/7/2021, but the workmanship is still under warranty. I didn't feel that I should repay for the inferior workmanship of 6/7/2021, that didn't fix the problem. The problem was fixed correctly with a new block of wood on 2/27/2022, and I was billed $250.00. I wrote the company on 2/28/2022, expressing my concerns that I should not have been billed $250.00 and wanted reimbursement for the guaranteed warranty on the 6/7/2021, job. I never received a response from them and contacted the BBB on 3/18/2022, for help. Red Mountain Garage Doors LLC did not respond to the Better Business Bureau either. Perhaps they think that's the way a business should operate. I don't and your need to be aware of their sloppy workmanship and refusal to honor their warranty. OM - Tuscaloosa, AL
