Google2I truly hate to leave this review because over the years Gaithersburg garage has serviced and replaced our garage doors in a professional manner. Six months ago in August 2025 they were fixing one of our garage doors and during that process, the grid broken and fell out of the window. I asked the tech to please have it replaced and he said he would look into it. Never heard back from him. I called probably a month or so later, explained the situation and was told a manager would call me back. A manager never called me back so a month later I called once again and explained the situation. They ordered a new grid. ppProbably six weeks later I reached out and they said they would schedule the installation. Shortly before the installation, they called and said the grid came in in the wrong color And they had to order again. After an extended period of time I had to reach out to them again. They said they now had the grid and we could schedule a week or two out. The day of the installation they called to inform me that they could not find the grid in their warehouse. I expressed my frustration in a polite manner, and the person on the phone said they would get back to me. My guess is I will not hear from them for the next month and I will have to call them again. Thank you for listening to my frustration.

Google5Gaithersburg Garage Door is excellent. They have worked on our garage doors for sometime now, and I always find their technicians exceptional. But I had to take a moment to write a special review about my technician encounter today. Rick was professional, knowledgeable, and offered great advice on how to successfully transition our old technology with new technology without breaking the bank. The time he took to explain everything to me was invaluable and greatly appreciated. A+ for Gaithersburg door and especially for Rick.

Google5I had a great experience with Gaithersburg Garage Door today. The technician arrived on time, replaced my broken garage door springs efficiently, and took the time to explain the work done. Professional service and great communication—though the final bill was slightly higher than I anticipated, the quality of work made it worthwhile. Highly recommend!

Google5I have worked with Fairfax and Gaithersburg Garage Door since 2020. They have routinely serviced our old garage door and sold us our new Clopay 18 x 7 ft. tempered, mirrored glass, garage door. Their service is always great, prompt, thorough and well-priced. Their pricing on our new door was "best in class". The techs involved in our install, Jeremy and Liam, were true "professional experts" in their field! Google5Was pleased to find such a great company to service our garage door. The old enclosed torsion bar/springs failed. We got a few estimates from other local companies in the Frederick area. The quotes were astronomical with the explanation being that the replacement parts were very hard to find and expensive. We got a referral from a close friend who recommended Gaithersburg Garage Door. We were pleasantly suprised to find that they service the Frederick area. The technician informed us that the existing system we had was wrought with known issues. He suggested replacing the entire torsion springs, rod and cables with a far more reliable system. The quote we received was almost half of the cost quoted by others to replace with the current system replacement parts. Work was scheduled for the next day and our door was fully functional within a couple of hours after the installer arrived. Every contact we have had with this great company has been nothing but friendly and professional. I highly recommend anyone considering having any garage door service done call this business!

After the first day, I called Gaithersburg Garage Door and they were able to give me a two hour window speedily within *the next day* and due to work I couldn't be there until 4 pm but they still had an after-work window for me! I value their flexibility and responsiveness! Nelson was super nice and professional. He was efficient and communicated very well as to what the issue was and how he would fix it. He gave me some pointers for preventing the problem from recurring and tuned up the whole Garage door system! I definitely recommend Gaithersburg Garage Door!

Google5Patrick V skillfully replaced the broken spring system with a new torsion system complete with new pulleys, bracket and wires in an hour. The garage door is working great now. Prompt, professional, responsive and efficient service. The office staff were also very professional and responsive and responded to my inquiries via text quickly. The pricing seemed fair and the final amount was as quoted the previous day by looking at the photos that I sent; no hidden charges or surprises. Keep up the good work!

Google5I highly recommend Gaithersburg Garage Door! I tried to open my garage door after lunch today and it went up a little and cables hung from the side of the door. Of course, it's Friday! When they installed my doors they tucked a business card between my wall openers. I knew exactly what to do! I called the number. To my delight I was told that a service person was in my neighborhood and would be by shortly. By 3pm today my door is fixed! Hector was very polite and helpful. I wish every business worked this way.
