On Monday, Nov.18,2013, at about 10 A.M., I was putting my coat on to go outside to mulch and rake leaves. I activated my remote garage door opener that was in my coat pocket before I entered the garage. I heard the door opening and then there was a loud bang. When I opened the door leading to the garage, the garage door was down and one of the extension springs and attached cable was broken which caused the door to slam back down. I contacted the Hanover Overhead Door Co. and spoke to Cathy and explained the situation to her. She took all the information down and advised me that she would call me back when she conferred with the maintenance staff. Cathy contacted me at an agreed time in the afternoon and told me that they had to shift some scheduling around because they were really busy at this time of year. To my surprise, Cathy was able to schedule me for a service call on Tue. Nov.19,2013 between 7-7:30 A.M. The technician arrived promptly at 7 A.M. and by 8 A.M. he completed replacing both extension springs and lubricated and adjusted all the parts on my garage door. He was professional and courteous and suggested ways for me to maintain my garage door to keep it in proper working order. Services Rendered: Replaced both extension springs, lubricated and adjusted all parts of the system on my single garage door.
