Google5These guys are the real deal. Never felt pressured to pay for anything unnecessary. They were in and out and the garage works amazingly. Handiwork is great! They’re also great people. Even remembered that we have a toddler and didn’t ring the doorbell. (Wouldn’t have even mad if they did). They were very courteous. You really can’t go wrong hiring this company.

Google5We recently experienced a spring failure on one our garage doors. Not something that happens frequently. The door was down with a vehicle inside. A quick internet search late in the day revealed Mr. Goldie in Yuba City. A couple of surprises. One, they answered the phone late afternoon Thursday. Two, they were able to schedule us for the next day late morning. (I didn’t ask but I felt they would have shown up Thursday if I’d asked or the situation had been more emergent). Turns out we chose wisely. Josh & Jordan were very courageous & respectful. Josh was very product savvy. Plus they had the repair parts in stock. They arrived within the timeframe promised. The repair/component replacement took about 1 1/2 hours. They used premium quality replacement parts and the cost was very reasonable. We would recommend this business for any residential garage door repair or installation.

Google5We called and spoke with Josh on Monday, December 22. We knew we needed work done on our door. He came out on Tuesday, December 23, at 8am sharp. He checked out our unit and asked what problems we were experiencing. He agreed and then pointed out what he had additionally found. He told me prices, sent an estimate contract text. He had options very easy to understand and we signed it directly on our phone. Their setup was very simple and professional. We were very pleasantly surprised with their PRICE, knowledge and the professionalism of this company.

Google5Company was very responsive to my request for an estimate. They provided same-day service and didn’t try to push any extra services on you. He was respectful of your things that had to get moved. He took the time to explain what he needed to do and got it done in a very reasonable amount of time. Would definitely recommend to friends or family who need garage door work done!

Google5I can’t recommend this company enough- very no nonsense low pressure approach to sales. Prices competitive. They got me just what I wanted. Install was fast and efficient. We need to paint our house no as this was part of a major remodel but 3 months later we love these doors.

Services Rendered: My garage door would not open. Associates from well hung garage doors came out and determined that the spring broke on my door. They repaired the spring as well as oiled other parts of the door, ensuring that & would operate smoothly.

Angi2Called to have the garage door fixed because the top section of the door was bent and would not close this was on 5/18. They responded in less than 2 hours and replaced the L shaped bar at the top of the door. He then proceeded to do some adjustments on the door opener which really had not given me any problems. He replaced a part which he said was worn and adjusted the drop because he said it was not running at the right angle. I was gone for most of June and July because my daughter was ill. In August on the 11 (or 17) my garage door would not operate I again called Well Hung and they responed again very quickly. When he opened the unit some white plastic what I would call teeth fell out. It appeared a gear was chewed up. I questioned why that would happen at this time since it operated fine before he had adusted it (the height). His response was parts wear out. I would agree except for the fact that the opener itself had worked fine prior to his adjustment in May. I would say that between May 18 and Aug. 11 the garage had only been opened maybe 10 or 15 times. The whole issue did not sit well with me and I would neither use or reccommend. Services Rendered: This was the 2nd time out for them. In May they replaced a bar along the top of the garage door which had been bent. While there he did some adjustments to my door which other than the bar across the top had been operating fine. I was gone most of June in July in August the garage door stopped operating and the plastic teeth on the gear had all shredded. I believe this was caused by the adjustment he had made while out the 1st time. Since I had no way of proving that is what caused the need for a 2nd repair I paid the bill and decided I would not use them when it comes time to replace the garage door. They were timely in responding to my request for service.

Angi5The employee came over promptly after I called, he did come on rather strong at first, make a few negative comments about my current garage door. I thought "oh no" I just got a pushy person who wants to sell me his product. I commented to him about this when he came back with the new garage door. It worked out well though. He promptly got to work taking the time to keep the door clean and his work area orderly. He was willing to answer my questions and was pleasant all through the installation which took most of the day and the temperature was in the 90's! Services Rendered: Company replaced my garage door and opener. They did the work in a professional manner and were knowledgable about the product. The person installing my door answered all my questions and was pleasant about it. I am very pleased for the most part wih their service. Only have two things that I thought they should have corrected, they drilled several holes in my garage ceiling to align the opener rail and just left them open, also the installer had to wash his hands to clean off some type of sealant after he used the hose, there was white residual on it, he also left the hose out, I would have appreciated him asking if it would be alright if he left it out. I didn't notice this until after he had left. I know these are little things but they irriatated me. as I am a customer that believes the company should leave the area as they found it. They also missed an appointment due to a miscommunication because the owner forgot to call his employee. This situation was corrected promptly. Overall this company was pretty good. What was apprecaited the most was the fact that there is a real person answering the phone when you call. I would definitely use them again.

Angi5On Saturday afternoon (Columbus Day weekend) our garage door came down on top of one of our vehicles, pinning the vehicle half in and half out of the garage. Unable to move either the door or the vehicle, I began calling for emergency service, starting with the garage door company we have used for years. I left a message on their answering machine. At that point I started working my way down Angie's List, calling companies nearest our area, leaving messages as I went. ~ Mark Magee, owner of Well Hung Garage Door, answered his phone immediately. He was at our home within two hours. He freed the vehicle and managed to get the damaged door working well enough to secure the garage and get us through the weekend. ~ ` Mark ordered a new door and was at our home on Monday morning (Columbus Day!) for the installation. We opted for a new lift kit due to the age of the unit. Also, the old unit did not have the infra-red beam and reverse-door protection feature that would have prevented the problem from occurring in the first place. ~ Mark is professional, knowledgeable and honest....no "hard- sell tactics". I checked some prices on-line and Mark's price was very fair, especially when considering the excellent response and service he provided. Well Hung Garage Door is our new garage door company. Keep up the great work Mark!. ~ Of note: Our previous garage door company finally returned my call.....on Monday. Services Rendered: Immediate response to an emergency service call on a Saturday. Installed new garage door and lift kit the following Monday.

Angi5Professional gentlemen and very honest. Saved me over $400 dollars!!!! I really appreciated their honesty and they were done within the hour. Had to make two trips for the second strut. Work just fine. Services Rendered: After calling a couple other companies on your list: $650.00 and another trying to sell a door for $1,200 or complete install for $695.00, I got in touch with .......at Well Hung Garage Door (A++ for integrity) ....... actually talked me out of buying something that I didn't need. He was over within 20 mins and in my garage working on the door before I met him. Instead of pushing a new door on me, ....... was honest and added a couple of struts to keep it functional and actually as good as new. Well Hung Garage Doors might have a funky name, but they were the only one's who treated me like a brother and took care of me. No salesman attitude. The other company actually told me "they don't sell cheap doors" before I told them that I had been browsing through Angie's list. I would advise other subscribers to mention "I was browsing through Angie's list" first. Thumbs up for Well Hung once again.....I seriously appreciate your honestly!!!!!!

Angi5I called Mark and he promptly returned my call, told me that they would be at my house within the hour. And within one hour, not only was he at my house, but the garage door was fixed. I had told Mark over the phone that the main spring was broken. He quoted me on the phone what it would cost and that's exactly what he charged me. Services Rendered: My garage door would not open.

Angi5The Liftmaster garage door opener would not drive the chain connected to the garage door. After consulting Angie's List, I called the Well Hung Garage Doors and left a message. Mark returns the call to arrange for a service call. Two technicians arrive on time, diagnose the faulty garage door opener, and replace the gear train in the opener. The job was completed in about 15 minutes. Charges were $48 for the service call, $20 for labor, $50 for the gear kit, and $4.50 for sales tax. Services Rendered: Replaced the gear kit in the Liftmaster garage door opener.

Angi5I was hesitant to call Mark as there was only one report on Angie's List for him and it was more than one year old. However, since he was located near me I took a chance. My fears were completely unfounded. He was excellent - prompt, professional, knowledgeable and took pride in doing a good job. He gives a 90 days service and one year parts warranty. I recommend him very highly. Services Rendered: Replaced defective gears in the opener, greased and tightened all components, programmed both automobile openers and installed a keyless entry.
